NYLA STARK had arrived at the gates of the Wall on her horse with her direwolf just as she had been running low on water and food. Initially, the Lord Commander, Jeor Mormont, had been reluctant to allow Nyla to stay due to his strict rule-following and the fact women weren't meant to be allowed at the Wall. However, after a long and - in Nyla's opinion - boring conversation between Jeor, Jon, and Nyla, the man had decided to allow the girl to stay, so long as she promised to do her best to keep away from the other men of the Night's Watch.

Nyla was sure Jeor hadn't planned for her to insist on accompanying her bastard brother beyond the Wall, as that would prove to make it challenging to keep far away from the other men of the Night's Watch.

Still, the Lord Commander's attempts to keep Nyla back at the Wall while her little brother left to go past it were futile.

That's how Nyla and Onyxia traveled past the Wall on the back of the horse Jaime Lannister had given her with her younger brother and multiple other men of the Night's Watch. And how Nyla ended up where she is now; at a large camp that one of the Watchers, Edd, had told her to 'be careful around'.

Nyla dismounts her horse, landing on the ground next to the sleek black-haired stallion, looking around at the camp in front of her. A large wooden house sits in the center, and surrounding it are various women moving throughout and working around the area. Her direwolf, Onyxia, jogs up to her side, standing there as Nyla runs one of her hands through the soft dark fur of her direwolf, her other hand holding the reins of her horse.

"That's foul." A voice comes up behind her, and Nyla turns around to find her brother and a few of his other Night's Watch friends coming up behind her.

"It's beyond foul." Another man, Grenn, shudders.

"What's beyond foul?" Nyla turns around, dropping the reins of her horse and allowing Onyxia to go a bit ahead of her into the camp without her.

"Craster." Samwell, who had convinced Nyla to call him Sam, shakes his head with disapproval that comes from merely uttering the man's name. "The man marries his daughters, gets more daughters, and the cycle continues."

"Well then." Nyla cringes back, but she does her best to shake the feeling off. "That is definitely beyond foul."

"All the other wildlings for a hundred leagues have disappeared." Edd cuts in. "Craster's still here." The man points out. "He must be doing something right." Edd shrugs.

"What about the boys?" Nyla furrows her eyebrows with her inquiry.

"Hmm?" Edd hums curiously as he and the rest of the men begin to move past her.
