Joan had already worked in the bank for three month going to four months and there were no problems.
Joan was coming back from work only to se bie a huge amount of money under her table.
She was shocked and she told her colleagues but they insisted that she should carry the money him, she had the money home cause the manager had already gone home and there was nobody there that can take care of it.
"Good evening mum"Joan said removing her shoe and switch it to her Crocs.
"Welcome JoJo" her mum said looking at her and she stands up to dish her food in the kitchen.
Joan sat on the sofa still very worried and thinking about the money, she wondered who would keep it there.
Her mum came out of the kitchen with Joan's food as she keeps it in the dining table.
"Why are you looking so worried, what happened"her mum said in concern as she walks down to the sitting room and sat closer to her.
Joan was still in a deep thinking mood then her mum touched her.
Joan then stood up frightened.
"What happened"her mum asked worried.
"Oh"Joan said then she slowly sat down.
"I found this bundle of money under my table in the office today"Joan said bringing it out of her bag.
"Oh my Goodness"her mum said.
"It is a very huge amount of money and I do not know what it is doing under my table"said Joan.
"You are going to return it tommorow right"her mum said.
"Of course, I will mum"Joan said.
"Like why did you carry it home you would have kept it in the managers office"her mum said so worriedly.
"He went home early cause the boss is coming tommorow for inspection"said Joan.
"What oh my goodness"Joan's mum said.
"I heard that he is strict and when I saw him last month he looks so rude with his glasses and ugly shaped beards" Joan said.
"So"joans mum asked.
"And the manager is going to come with him"Joan said.
"So what I'm I gonna do, mum"Joan said .
"Okay you will go to the managers office when he comes and tell him"said Joan's mum.
"Okay mum"Joan said.
"Do not worry much your food is on the dining table just go and eat and do not worry much ,okay"her mum said.
"Mum, where is Mike"Joan asked.
"Oh, he is asleep, he was really tired today"her mum said.
"So soon"Joan said
After Joan ate the food she went to see Mike and she kisses him Goodnight.
Joan and her mum also watched the TV for some minutes before they headed to bed.
The next day, Joan ate breakfast and went to work, she was still thinking of the money, the money was in her bag.
She got to work and when she got inside everyone where staring at her, what has happened Joan repeatedly said in her mind.
She went to her office and it normal.
After some minutes, the boss and manager arrived.
The boss seemed really pissed.
Everyone greeted him until he headed to Joan's office.
Joan stood up
"Good morning boss, good morning Mana.......(interrupted)
"Where is the money"manager asked.
"Which money"Joan asked
"The one you stole"the manager said looking towards the boss.
One of her colleague came into the office.
"Yes manager you sent for me"the colleague said.
"Yes, so tell us how you saw her stealing"said manager.
The boss just observed what was going on.
While Joan was looking confused.
"I saw her taking the money from the box where the manager told us not to touch or open cause it was a customer's money"the colleague said.
"Nooo, that's not true, I saw the money under my table"Joan said.
"Because that's where you kept it"the colleague said.
"It not true boss"said Joan.
"Sir you have heard what they had to say, what would you say about it" the manager asked.
"Umm, where is the money" the boss asked.
Joan immediately brought it out from her bag and kept it on the table.
"Why is the money in your bag then"the boss asked.
"I took it home yesterday after I saw it under my table and I carried it home cause the manager wasn't around and I brought it today because I wanted to give it to him"Joan said
"Not true"said the colleague
Joan was disappointed.
