If you thought the fighting stopped when the group of four escaped together then you would most definitely be wrong. It was always the same thing. Luffy would annoy Nami while she worked on the safe, Nami would get onto him, Artemisia would flirt with Nami, Nami would get annoyed, and then Zoro told them to stop being so loud while he tried to nap. Any normal people would want to leave the group as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Who would want to be around so much fighting and arguing? The answer was simple. Artemisia would.
This group was lively. They were funny. It was the most fun that she has had in a while. Yes, they all had a tendency to get on each other's nerves. Luffy and Artemisia mostly get on Nami's nerves. But it was fun. It was interesting. It was exciting. Artemisia can recall a time similar to this when she was younger. Back when she was on her mother's ship. This feeling was how she knew they would come to like each other, even if it didn't seem like it now. They would eventually.
As if to describe the vibe on the boat, the sky had dark clouds overhead. Artemisia didn't doubt that it would probably storm sometime soon. She just hoped it wasn't too bad of a storm. She didn't think that their cramped, small ship would be able to take it that well. The ship was Nami's. Artemisia wasn't sure how Nami got this ship and, honestly, she couldn't care enough to ask. All that she could do was stare.
Currently, Nami was trying to open the safe. They had been sailing for a while now, Shells Town was no longer in sight. The whole time, Nami had been working on trying to get the safe open. It had multiple combination locks. She managed to get a few of them done but still had some left. It was fascinating to watch Nami work. Every move she took, every slight flit of her eyes, every furrowed brow in thought, it was breathtaking.
Breathtaking was the best way to describe Nami. That was Artemisia's opinion. If someone were to come up to her and ask her what she thought about the orange-haired girl (whom she had quite literally just met and had only known for close to two days), she would have no problem replying. "She's beautiful. Not just in the way she looks but in the way she just... Is. I could completely forget what she looks like but still know that she's the most beautiful person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting."
A grin grew on Artemisia's face as she continued to watch Nami work. Nami's expression turned from one of focus into one of annoyance. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she messed with the knob of the safe. Eventually, she couldn't handle it anymore. Her eyes opened and she glanced at Artemisia with a look of displeasure, "Stop staring."
