Getting out of the cell proved to be easier than they originally thought. Nami was grateful that they didn't think to check inside her shoes for anything. They sneaked their way out of the jailhouse and took down anyone that got in their way. For some reason, Nami chose to keep one of the people they fought conscious. None of them knew why. She was only delaying the inevitable. Not until she explained to them did they understand.
Information. If they were going to go into the temple to get Artemisia back, they were going to need to know more about it. For example, "What kind of defenses does the temple have?" Nami first asked the man.
It was clear to everyone the man didn't want to be there. But with Sanji and Zoro on either side of him, it was hard to escape. That didn't mean he couldn't withhold information from the group. He tried to go this route. He only stared fearlessly into the orange-haired girl's eyes. Nami wondered if the fights in the village had been trained to handle situations like this. She was about to find out.
Before any words could escape her mouth, Sanji spoke, "Answer the lady." The tone was threatening. Despite that, the man remained silent. He shot a single glance at the blond before focusing back on the only woman in the group. It was like he was challenging her. If that's what he wanted, she was going to give him exactly that. How long would it take him to break, she wondered?
Narrowing her eyes, she stared at the man with her usual intimidating stare, "Listen, I can make things much simpler for you if you answer my questions," The intimidation turned more subtle. She smiled at him. You could tell that it was still there, but not as outwardly as before. "If not, I can easily make your life hell," She looked him up and down, "I could start with having my friend with the swords stab you, and we hide your body so no one finds it, and you bleed out," A thoughtful expression took over her features, "Then again, that seems too easy. Maybe I can have him cut open your stomach, and we tie you down on the beach so that the birds can swoop down and-"
