Shells Town. Home of the 153rd Marine Branch. No wonder there were so many Marines crawling around the place. Everywhere Artemisia turned, she was met with Marine, after Marine, after Marine, and so on. It was enough to put her on edge slightly. A good Marine wasn't nonexistent, but they were very rare and definitely hard to come by. It's always best to cover your bases and not step on any toes in a new place.
Three of them, Artemisia, Luffy, and Koby, walked into the town square, presumably the square. The first thing that caught Luffy's eye was the wall with a bunch of wanted posters and a huge picture of a man with an iron muzzle on his face. Without the military uniform, Artemisia would have been confident in her assumption that he was a pirate. You'd think the supposed good guys would dress like good guys. Apparently not.
Like he didn't even see the picture of the Marine, Luffy walked right up to the wanted posters. He looked over them with a grin, "I didn't know there were so many pirates!"
A scoff came from Artemisia as she crossed her arms, "Please," She grinned, "This isn't even all of them." This seemed to excite Luffy even more. Artemisia decided to take a moment to look at the wall of wanted posters to see if maybe, just maybe, she could catch a glimpse of someone that she might know. There were quite a few posters on the wall, but only a few caught her attention.
One was of a woman. She had curly dark hair and a snarl on her face. She wore the typical pirate's hat. Her bounty was quite up there, so she was obviously someone a little well-known. Alvida was the name on the poster... Not one that Artemisia can exactly recall. The next poster that caught Artemisia's attention was of a man wearing clown makeup. She shivered at the sight of him. She hated clowns. The name on the poster was Buggy, and his bounty was higher than Alvida's. While Artemisia didn't know exactly who this Buggy was, she decided it would be better to avoid the man.
Finally, Artemisia's gaze fell onto one poster in particular. She could hear Koby and Luffy talking beside her, but she tuned them out. On the poster was a woman with a smirk on her face. Her hair was back in a bun with only a few strands showing, curling into ringlets. The woman also wore a pirate hat, a maroon one. The face was one that Artemisia knew very well; it was very similar to her own. Philippa Nightlove was the pirate's name on the wanted poster, and her bounty was high. Artemisia smiled at the sight.
