Imagine: Gabriel's allegations and their aftermath

Y/n's POV It had been a horrible past 2 days, Gabriel was detained in Venice while he was at the Venice Film Festival which he attended and was going to receive an award which now was revoked out of considered
It was a charge that was old as his cousin filed a police report when he was in his teens because the cousin got mad at him over something petty, mind you the complaint happened in France but he was in Spain at the time and apparently it got brought up again
I was heartbroken as I am victim of sexual assault/rape so this isn't something I will take lightly but I knew it wasn't true even if my brain was trying to tell me otherwise
Thankfully they had his hearing and he was released from their grip
He came into the house we shared together with our 4 small children who were down for nap time as they were having an adrenaline high and were stressing me out to no end and my anxiety was already so high so it wasn't help me calm down
I didn't say anything, not because I didn't want to but I didn't have anything to say because what are you supposed to say in this situation?
He came over to me and held me starting to cry, I feel so bad
I softly stroked his back and held on to him "that was so scary" he said crying into my neck
"I know but it's over and all we can do now is wait for everyone to realize you didn't do it" I said, the sad part is that some people said it was obvious he was like this because of the role he played in Culpa Mía
That's a fictional character but obviously some people didn't get the hint on that, not to say that can't be partially a reflection of his personality but I know it isn't
"I just don't understand why that had to happen" he said looking at me as I wiped the tears off his face
"Someone's being petty most likely, it's sad but it happens" I said telling him the truth
"What have I done to deserve this?" Gabriel said clearly doubting himself
"Nothing Mi Amore, this is all a misunderstanding not to say it isn't terrible but all you can do is be optimistic" I said as he held my hand to his heart
I could feel his heart beating so fast out of his body, I didn't understand why he had done that
"You and the kids keep that going and I am forever grateful" Gabriel said giving me a kiss which I returned to him as well "I love you" he said finally smiling "I love you more" I said smiling back at him
Then came our 4 kids who had woken up from their nap
"Hey mis amores" I said to our small children, "Papá!" The kids said running to their dad who had been gone for days
Gabriel kneeled down to level of his small children after all he is six foot and the 3 year old quadruplets were only 3'5 feet tall
He gave them kisses and hugs, he was happy to see them again after the whole ordeal
"Mamá I'm hungry" our oldest daughter said looking at me, I checked the time it was now 6 pm so yeah dinner time
I grabbed my phone to order something as I had no desire to cook right now
The kids showed Gabriel the arts and crafts they had done with me earlier, Gabriel was happy
"Now we wait who wants to watch a movie?" I said enthusiastically "me me me" the kids said rushing to the living room me and Gabriel laughed "so much like us at that age you remember?" Gabriel asked me "oh yeah except you were always trying to do something dangerous" I said smiling
We went and put on a movie for the kids until the food got there
We ate dinner together not acknowledging what had happened as the kids are too young to really understand that their dad went to jail for something that never happened in the first place
Then we got them ready for bed and did a bedtime story, then said good night to them and went to our own thing
Do the dishes, laundry and pick up what the kids messed up (not to shame them they are small children after all)
Then we ourselves got ready for bed and then put ourselves in bed
Gabriel pulled me into his chest wrapping his arms around my waist "I don't ever wanna do that again" he said holding onto me "we'll be ok I promise" I said smiling and falling asleep in his arms
