" you're doing so good Anna now push for me " , she gave it one big push and the baby was out but she wasn't crying.

" what's wrong with her why isn't she crying?" Anna asked worriedly.

The doctor kept quiet cleaning up the baby wrapping her up " doctor " , " she's fine she's just lazy look " Marcelo looked at the baby her eyes batting as she sucked her thumb he smiled.

The doctor hit her and she started crying,  Marcelo cut the cord and they placed the baby on Anna's chest.

" oh look at you , are you hungry?" She kissed her forehead and started breastfeeding her.

" Anna we need to get you inside and clean you up , we also need to get your placenta out but we can't do it in here " , " ill help her up " , " no you'll have blood all over you".

" Belle you're my wife , I need to make sure you're okay , I don't care about the blood as long as you're okay " he lifted her up as Cole walked inside with the baby.

They got into the emergency room and he laid her down " ill be right outside okay" she nodded.

The doctor made sure Anna was okay , taking the placenta out with the help of the nurses as they cleaned her up and put a mommy pad on her and changed her clothes.

Alic came in holding the child " is she okay ? Did som..." , " mhhh look at you in mommy mode already , she's fine I figured you'd want to see her before the meds take you out " she nodded taking the baby in her hands.

She looked down on her baby kissing her forehead " welcome to our messy little world princess, you'll be one protect princess I swear no one will hurt you , daddy won't never let them after today, I doubt we'll ever be let out of his sight " Alic chuckled.

" and I will make sure it stays that way " she smiled and the baby slept Alic took the child  and Anna slept.

Marcelo was worried asking the doctor everything " is she going to be okay ? Is the baby okay ?, Do they need to go to the hospital? " , " Celo calm down at least let the doctor talk first " Cole said sitting him down.

" your wife and child will be just fine , the child will need to come for her first check up after 6 days by then please have her name ready so she can be registered and given a birth certificate, your wife has a few stitches but she'll be fine, blood clots will come out of her for a month or two she will need sometime and help as this will be a difficult time for her , postpartum isn't child's play , she will need patience, she maybe moody , depressed and may still experience some of her pregnancy hormones so please be gentle.

First time mom's aren't good at asking for help so please do help with the little things and give her some space , she will have alot of selfdoubt, and she can also have seperation anxiety so please be careful, just as the new born she too will be fragile " They nodded.

" will it be painful? " , " honestly only woman know how it feels after birth , I would say yes thought she will struggle with constipation for a while so make sure she has some medication to help " , " will she be able to walk ? " , "Yes , but with difficulty as the stitches and uncomfortablity will also be a thing " , " okay " Marcelo walked out and walked to the room Anna was in he got into bed next to her and spooned her.

She woke up feeling uncomfortable of how close she was to him.

He sat up " do I make you feel uncomfortable? Do you not want me to touch you ?" She bit her lips.

He cupped her face " is it the blood clots ? Do you need to change your pad ?" She just looked at him and didn't answer.

" do you want me to go ?" , " no " , " Belle you'll tell me if you're in pain right?" She nodded.

" this is all new to me but I promise ill do some research for you , but this can only work if you talk to me , let me help , let me be your shoulder, we're both new to parenthood and I already know ill be twice as possessive so please meet me half way , the blood , the constipation, tell me so I know where I can help don't ever feel embarrassed to tell me , if you feel uncomfortable in me touching you tell me so I can not make you feel that way , if you need me to help you take a bath tell me don't worry about anything, you just gave birth to our little princess, having change in your body doesn't make me love you less infact I am very proud of you , so please don't feel ashamed infront of me we're in this together, okay " she nodded.

" could you help me to the bathroom?" He nodded getting up and helping her there was a bloodstain on the bed and on her she tried hiding it but he cupped her face kissing her forehead " take as much time you'll need in the bathroom ill bring fresh clothes and pads , Ill change the bed in the meantime okay " she nodded and he helped her get into the bathroom.

" if you feel constipated drink this okay , it will help " she nodded " ill be right outside and ill order us pizza is that okay " she nodded.

He cupped her cheeks " I love you, you did great " , she looked up at him for the first time " I love you more " he smiled and walked out.

Anna took some time in the bathroom groaning every now and then, Marcelo could hear her but he let her be he didn't want to make her uncomfortable.

He changed the sheets , got the food ready and went to check up on the child.

He pushed her little baby bed into the room and Anna walked out of the bathroom " is she awake? Do I need to feed her ?" He smiled leading to the bed.

" she's still asleep let's feed you first so you can have energy to feed her " , he took out the pizza and started feeding her , the baby woke up and started breastfeeding but Marcelo continued feeding Anna till he was satisfied.

" ice cream or cake? " , " cake " he kissed her forehead walking out and getting the cake he walked back in and fed it to her.

Once the baby was asleep he took her and placed her in her bed.

He then helped Anna rest , " you should rest up as well " he said laying down " ill be on the couch if you need anything" , she held onto his hand " lay with me " , " are you sure ?" , "Mhhh" Marcelo got in bed next to her.

" thank you " he smiled and kissed her forehead.

Anna and Marcelo took things slowly together learning new things as they came.
