chapter 17

Mike's pov
Have been avoiding her since the incident and it seemed like she was also avoiding me too.i haven't seen her that much since that night even though the alpha made us share a room she never actually slept in the room with me.she comes to the room late and leaves early in the morning.she doesn't know that am a light sleeper and pretty aware of her intrusion.there are some time when I feel like she want to be  violent and aggressive toward me those were the nights I wonder what the alpha was thinking putting me and his daughter together in the same room. During those period have been close to Miranda and have a special place we go too that is far away from the pack .at least my own special place with her which she doesn't know yet .
She always talks about her mate all the time  which makes me uncomfortable all the time since I still like her .she always ask me about my mate which I keep lying to her and everyone close to me that she is nice.

Today is going to be a fun day ,I already planned today with Miranda. We were going to go to our special place and pick some berries on the way and have a picnic .I just came out of the shower when I saw Athena sitting comfortably on the bed. She already dyed her hair red.
When did that happen? She is kinda of giving off a dangerous aura .the air is tainted in dread .her aura is choking me and I struggled to breath .I decided to try to confront her but what I saw on her face made me dread what was happening.she seemed happy about making me suffer.
She finally let go of her dangerous aura.
I struggled to breath for some while still giving her a death glare. She seemed taken aback by my glare but she held herself back.

"I see you got used to being the boss around here " she said still looking at me with loath in her eyes
I ..do.n't.. understand?  I  wanted to sound annoyed but my voice and confidence gave up on me instead I ended up stuttering  with my voice quivering with uncertainty. This time she just gave me a scowl with her glare piercing toward me with animosity.

I just kept on gulping,it looked like she wanted to hit me she was holding herself back.
"I want you dressed we got to go somewhere " , she said while looking at me daring me to question her command but I didn't care I wouldn't allow someone I haven't seen in a long time just come and control me like I had no choice.
"Why should I follow you? You can't just come in here and just command me like I am just some .....  Before I could even finish my sentence I  heard a crashing sound  I was already pinned again the broken mirror with blood straining down my arm. At this point I felt a mix of panic and shock . My heart Raced  as I feared what she could do to me. Her comings up close to  me made me realize not only did her  hair changed color , her eyes also changed to red .she looks more stronger and aggressive .she was aggressive before but this person Infront of me was no where close to the Athena I know before .

"You really are disobedient aren't you? put on your fucking clothes and meet me outside " she said still looking at me with hate and this deadly look I couldn't decipher .
I don't know what's wrong with her or why the sudden change. At least she wasn't this violent before. I don't think I can stand her anymore.i don't know when a strain of tears started coming out  .I sobbed till  my eyes couldn't take it anymore.

We finally arrived at Athena parents home after she had  one of the omegas to stitch me up and close up the wound .I was sad the whole ride, I couldn't hide my fear of her and she revelled in it .
The former alpha was already waiting for us at the dinning area .she didn't even bother to greet her parents, her parents looked at me in shock I guess they were too visible. They pretended and just greeted me like they saw nothing.help !!help me!!

Everybody finally settled down.althea father stood up and raised his glass for silence.
The reason I called you here Althea is because it's been months since your mate has joined this pack  and everybody in the pack have been curious about your mate cause you haven't introduce him to our pack properly . I want you guys to complete the mating ceremony right . I tensed up immediately he said that
What? That's like marriage ,that means I will be getting married to her in the wolf way.  No !no!
Everyone was waiting for her response but instead she only nodded
Okay!
Everyone was surprised
So when is the perfect time for the ceremony? She surprisingly asked her father.
The full moon is the perfect time for this .which will be in two weeks time.
I was so shocked my chair squeaked which got everyone's attention but not hers. She seemed uninterested but ready to go on with the arrangements.
