chapter 16

Mike's pov
I went back to my room exhausted it's been weeks since my stupid mate have made my life miserable.she made me participate in all the house chores which makes me finally exhausted at the end of the day.everyone in the pack house has been giving me death stares it seemed my mate hasn't recognized me and introduce me to her pack and parents yet. She seemed to be hiding me from everyone .she always seemed to be busy but made sure I did all the chores with the other omega .it seemed like she really wanted me to know my place as an omega and also stick to the role. I don't know why I got paired with her of all people we are total opposite of each other.i was exhausted and tired . finally decided it was time to sleep not to think about someone who put me in this situation in the first place.i decided to close my eyes when I heard some noise coming from the next room which is from non other than Althea's room next door. I decided to ignore it ,I was about to close my eyes again when I felt my body burning up.I was stunned before I could say anything I felt another strong pain hit my body.my body was really burning up it was if I was on fire.it was getting worse with each minute.my body was so hot I was feeling it through my bones.i couldn't take it anymore I screamed for help.my  eyes began to close ,everything felt blurry but before I passed out I saw Sam.

I woke up when I heard some sound like someone is arguing.then suddenly I felt cold I was able to open my eyes a bit.i saw Althea arguing with whom I assume are her parents. it seemed am in a bath tub or something, but what happened? I decided it was better to pretend I was asleep.i was still lost in my thought when I heard Althea's words.
"No one can tell me what to do with my mate." She said this with much hate in her voice to whom I assumed is her father. What are they talking about.Is it about me.
"My God my worst fear is finally coming true  we gave birth to a monster" Althea's father said with so much pain in his heart.but I still don't understand why am in bathtub and why they are arguing about.it seemed the fever is gone am alright.

"U knew Althea, you very well knew that it was gonna hurt him if  you did that" Althea father seemed to be shaken by what happened.but what really happened.

"So you guys are telling me to give up my source of joy just because of him I haven't even marked him yet"she said with so much venom that I felt hurt even though I don't understand what they are talking about but it seemed to be about me .what source of joy will she let go because of me.i was still in thought when I heard another female voice it must be Althea's mother.
"Am very disappointed in you ,even when you showed your negative side I always thought you have some good in you." I could see anything but I could feel her pain.
"You knew you sleeping with Gabriel is gonna cause him pain.since he is your mate and you still went ahead and did it" .I was so shocked with what I heard so she was ...that what's the noise is for.why would she...
I don't care about the fact that we are mates but I was expecting since she knew that I was gonna get the repercussions she could still stop for me at least.it kinda of broke my heart to think she was too heartless to stop for me .that's what she meant when she said she couldn't give up her source of joy. I realized she is just to evil for me, I don't know what the moon goodness was thinking but this union is impossible.

"So what,I didn't know it was gonna hurt that much,I tried to hold back for weeks but I couldn't, I couldn't give up the temptations.i just thought it will be fast enough not to notice it,but at the end of the day he is an omega.just too weak for me" at this point Althea's parent are furious.

"You know what, from now on you guys are sleeping in the same room from now on." Althea's father said with his alpha tone at this point I was finding it hard to breathe .thank God he stopped emitting his dark aura. I was still shocked with what he said .I don't want to sleep with his daughter in the same room.she's pure evil.

"What , Are you insane? You can't do that.
"Yes we can, we still have the power to judge you and also take away  your role as a alpha".
"You guys are insane".the next thing I new someone shut the door loudly.i knew it was Althea.then I heard a sob I knew it was from her parents.this mate of mate of mine is pure evil not only  is  she really awful   to her parent and mate but to the whole pack
