Under My Mates Clutch

Sitting across from me is Alex,my nemesis with the chess board between us. From the hardness in her eyes I could tell it was not a friendly one .

"Your move" says Alex with a sneer on her face.

I stare at the board  thinking of my next move trying to find the right one that will lead me to Victory. But then again this is only a game and real life there's no such thing as a checkmate.

I can tell by the gleam in her eyes that she knows this is her victory.

" It's your move" she said with a blank face .

There was a moment of silence as the next move could decide the winner and loser.

I moved the knight  and I could tell from the  shocked look on her face she knew this was a new development.

"Check mate" I say with a smile
She could only stare at the board with a dark look not believing what just happened.

"It's my win"

"How"? She said not believing it

"I had a plan all along but I had to loose inorder for you to drop your guard down " I replied with a smirk

"You are such a cunning woman Althea ,and am glad I found someone like you. She said with a sarcastic tone with a sneer on her face.

"You don't say , but I don't enjoy playing this game with you"  I said as I sat upright to look deep into her gaze

"Am not gonna play the game of beating around the bush with you Alex"

"What do you want Alex ,why did suddenly show up after so many years" I asked looking at her unwavering bored expression

"Why do I feel like you already feel threatened already? She asked with a amused face .

"Don't worry nothing will happen" while giving me a smirk.

"I know nothing will happen especially not under my watch, Alex and whatever games you have going on you better give up"

" I don't know what you and the alpha king are up to but you guys better make sure you keep your hands off my mate"

"Are you scared ? She asked this time walking over to me while whispering to my hear.

"That I will take what's yours again" I suddenly felt a pang of anger wash through me and didn't know when i held her collar.

"You haven't stop being obsessed with things ,you are still stuck in the past ?

Her shocked expression brought a smile to my face.

"You should move on honey and stop being stuck in the past " I won in the past and can always win again
I gave her a final look before making my way out of there

As I close the door behind me I could feel a pair of eyes burning into my back.

This is only the beginning of a long game between you and me alex.

A game which I will always win

I  decided that I need a walk from all the stress and stuff that has been going on and what better way than to go and see him.

I had to see him and apologize for last night and most especially make sure he was safe.

I could not stop thinking about him and what he was doing. Especially after what happened yesterday

I wanted to knock but decided against knocking  since it's our room anyway.

He was sleeping peacefully.

I  unconsciously moved closer to his face studying his facial features when I saw a little bit of dries tears on his face .
I unconsciously moved my face closer to him when I suddenly felt him jump up from his sleeping position on the bed .

"What are you doing here? He's voice still slurred from sleep.

"You should calm down ,am not gonna hurt you!

"You think I am so stupid after what you did yesterday? I will let my guard down around you huh!

I suddenly felt annoyed at his disrespect I growled

"You are to adress me with more respect. Do you understand me omega?

"I  am no omega" ,he angrily retorted.

My eyes narrowed " "YOU. ARE. A. OMEGA!!

"MY .NAME. IS .MIKE  he replied, and I will die before I allow you to keep  on calling me by my rank.

I was so surprised to hear him shout that i didn't notice how close he was to me, his eyes were so full of rage. I could feel him getting closer and closer to me, the air seemed to get hotter the closer he got to me, until our lips touched.I had no time to react when he shoved me back

Surprised at myself as I unconsciously let out a soft chuckle  .

"I am so glad you are angry" looking at him with an evil grin

"Dumb alpha" he grumbled

"What did you just say omega? I tightly held his wrist.

"I said my name is Mike not omega"! Do you finally understand? He said, looking like he was about to punch me, he was so small and cute he reminded me of a kitten trying to fight a lion.

He tried to push me off, but I pulled him against my chest and held his wrists.

"If I'm an Alpha, you're an Omega, and your job is to obey me, omega, so let's go and you can be mine" I growled against his ear as I pulled him closer to my chest.

His breath caught and his body went limp, his face was bright red, I could smell his scent, and it was very sweet, almost like sugar and honey, which made me want to lick him all over.

"Let go of me ,you pervert"! He growled as he struggled against my grip, but his small body and his omega physique, didn't stand a chance against my alpha body.

"Shut up and stay quiet, you're making a scene" I whispered angrily against his ear, causing him to shudder.

I could hear him cursing at me and threatening to pull out my hair but it just made me laugh.

"I'll be good, so can you please let me go," He whined.
