I’m sure you’ve all heard about the story with Kai and Gerda. Now you know about me. I was their villain. But I’m still here. We’re all still here. My descendants walk amongst you. I am doomed to live forever. So is everyone else in this castle. If you come to visit me it’s always winter.
Every now and then I’ll get a visitor. To them I’m a myth, a legend, the Snow Queen. As I’ve learned over the years multiple fairytales are real. Sometimes I get to see how the people are forged. Other times I wonder what their stories are. How did the sea witch become what she is? How did Captain Hook get to neverland? Quite frankly those stories aren’t mine to tell.
I’m basically over 200 years old. Maybe if you took the time to know the villain better maybe you would understand why. Why do we do the things we do? Maybe one day I could go meet the sea witch. Take the white horses out to the ocean. Maybe you could do it for me. Learn the tale of the Sea WItch before you judge her actions. Even the villain has an origin story.
