Chapter 10:

I was shook up from bed.

“KRISTEN!!!” Blake yelled shaking me in my bed. “We’re gonna be late! We have a couple minutes to get to school, and you didn’t wake up yet!”

I squinted my eyes to readjust the light in my room. All I hear was “Kristen–” I zoned out on the rest.

I sat up on my bed with my wavy hair all over the place. It took me a moment to realize my surroundings and what today was. Ew.. I had school.

Huge Note To Self: Don’t go on dates on Sunday… especially coming home crying and feeling guilty about it.

“Good Morning Blakeey” I yawned stretching my arms out.

He glared at me, rolling his eyes.

“GET OUT OF THE DAMN BED KRISSY! You’re such a fat ass!” he yelled at me.

I pouted.

He rolled his eyes again, “Damn that puppy dog face, you’re to cute sis”

“I know” I smirked.

“Yeah whatever, you’re going to be late.. Really late, I’m not driving you if you don’t get ready in two minutes!” he shook his head.

“WHAT?! Oh shit!” I screamed as I looked at my alarm clock. 10 minutes before school started.

“Blakee!! Can you just call us both out acting like Dad??? Please? I really don’t want a tardy!” I pleaded.

He contemplated for a minute.

“Blake, YOU’RE not even ready yet!” I protested.

He sighed. “Fine… you can sleep for another 20 minutes, but get ready right after!” He told me walking out of my room.

I smiled. I love Blake!

I grinned as I fell asleep again.

I woke up again at 8:35 and got out of bed to get dressed.

I brushed quickly and just changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt. It was a Monday.. Too lazy to look good. I wore light eyeliner and mascara as I stepped downstairs to get in Blake’s car. Blake was waiting for me and we both got in quickly.

We blasted music the whole ride, the way I liked it, and sang.

We were late, so parking was full in our school. We had to park all the way at one end of the parking lot and walk to the entrance.

“Blake, I gotta get my car out of servicing!” I exclaimed.

“Oh yeah.. Today?” he asked.

I frowned, “No Blake, how about my next life?” I rolled my eyes.

He grinned.

“Fine, fine. After football practice, I’ll get you.” he replied.

I nodded victoriously.

“I have cheer practice as well, so meet me up at your car,” I told him.

He nodded.

We finally reached the building, and first hour was still going on. I didn’t want to barge into first hour, so I decided to hang with my brother until we had five minutes before the bell rang.
