The terrain was dark and gloomy, there were dim lights and sour faces. The plant life was bare, instead of sweet and delicate flowers. They were rough and even had harsh expressions on their faces. Most of the land was made up of dark stone, and loudspeakers surrounded the kingdom playing heavy metal songs. The buildings were decorated with dark symbolism that even I couldn't understand.
All the aliens on this planet were different species, they came from different galaxies and moved here. The only thing they have in common is that they are emo. It's actually quite peaceful if you think about it. They don't judge one another because they are different, they get along with each other because they have something in common. If only other aliens also thought like this. We did get some looks since we weren't dressed quite appropriately for them, however, they still shared a friendly aura.
Queen Mercuria's castle sat on the highest mountain point. Obviously, it was black and covered in skulls, it was rumored that those were the skulls of the now-dead royal moth bloodline. It's just a rumor, hopefully. The architecture of the castle looked like a piece of coral, for it was sharp and pointed. The gardening was made up of thorn bushes and dead flowers.
In front of the castle was a short snail alien. Snail aliens are known for their short height and knowledge of herbs and medicine. They are typically in the medical field, however, there she was standing in front of us waiting.
"Hello, I'm Taila, Queen Mercuria's personal assistant. What brings Space Ranger Inc. to her Majesty's palace?" She said annoyed.
"Hi, I'm Andy, that's Steven and Susan. We are here to try and form a peace treaty between Kimana and Emo. We fear that the war won't benefit Queen Mercuria or Queen Kocho. It will only bring death to your people." I said trying to sound convincing. Steven translates for Susan what Taila is speaking but in a low hush voice. Susan is trying her best, but ultimately is getting more and more irritated as she is left in the dark.
"Are you crazy? Queen Mercuria is stubborn as a bull, what do you outsiders know about their conflict? Please go home and leave." Talia's harsh words repeated into my ears.
"We aren't here to interfere with a family problem, we are here to help the soldiers who might die for a cause that isn't necessary for war," I said practically pleading.
"Taila we need to speak with Queen Mercuria! I don't care if she won't listen, but she's putting her lambs for slaughter." Susan replied.
"I don't care! if you knew what her sister did to her. Then maybe you guys would understand why she wants to conquer Kimana. It was supposed to be her land until she was exiled, you guys won't get it." Taila shouted while clenching her fist before her eyes widened into a shock. "I said too much, you need to leave please, before she sees you."
"Taila, why are you scaring our guest away? If they have something to tell me let them say it to my face." A loud bitter voice said in the shadows of the castle.
There appeared a tall figure, easily 8ft tall. Her insect-like eyes glared at everyone. She had the royal butterfly marks on her face, yet she had a giant pair of black and silver moth wings. Her white hair was pinned into two pigtails, it reminded me of the late Queen Chrysalis of Kimana.
"My Queen, they are urging you to end the war. In my opinion, they have no right for they don't know the context." Taila said practically snitching on us. Steven, Susan, and I curtsied to the Queen before I spoke.
"My Queen, please just hear us out. I don't know what troubles you were caused by Queen Kocho, however, this is not the right reason to start a war. Your people and hers will all be slaughtered and it will only cause devastation." She listened to my words before laughing.
