I get woken up by a couple of knocks on my door.

I squeeze my eyes a bit and finally open them, hearing the tv faintly in the background. I sit up on my elbows and look out the window, seeing the sun barely rising over the trees.

I reach over to the small bedside table and turn off the tv. I finally sit up all the way and give my arms a quick stretch before finally deciding to get up and walk over to the door.

I open it slightly and peek my head in the small crack, seeing Price in front of me.

"You ready for today?" Price asks.

"No, but I kinda have to be." I say, shrugging my shoulders.

I open the door all the way and see him in his full tactical gear, seemingly ready to start the mission.

"We'll be here for you, don't you worry." He says, reaching over and patting me twice on the shoulder. "Go ahead and get changed, don't bother looking too put together, we really gotta make him believe that you were in trouble these last two days."

"You got it boss." I say unenthusiastically.

I close the door and walk back in my room, deciding not to shower since I showered last night and like he said I shouldn't look too 'put together'.

I walk up to my dresser, grabbing a random t-shirt and jeans and throwing them on. I head into the bathroom and grab a hair tie, putting my hair up in a quick ponytail and using some water to flatten down any baby hairs. I finally walk to the door and put on some sneakers.

Once I open it and step out I see Soap, Ghost, and Alejandro in the hallway with full gear. It seems like I was the last one to wake up and take the least amount of time getting ready.

"I feel a little underdressed." I say, trying to joke around to calm my nerves.

"Don't worry, you look lovely." Soap says, offering me a smile. I notice Ghost look over at him from the corner of his eye.

"Alright, let's go." Price says.

He starts walking to the opposite end of the hallway from where the entrance is, and just now I notice that there is another door at the end.

When he opens it there's a staircase going up, about three flights of stairs. When we reach the top we're on the roof of the building, a helicopter in front of us.

"Oh, fuck." I say as I slow down to a complete stop. The rest of them walk past me, meeting up with Gaz and König who are both already standing by the helicopter.

While I am someone who has moved things all over the country I've never found a reason to travel with them, and when traveling was necessary Valeria always liked doing it on her own rather than risking both of our lives.

With that being said I've never been on an airplane or a helicopter to begin with, and now I have to trust that I won't die in the hands of people who I just met.

"You coming?" Ghost asks as he walks past me. I hadn't even noticed that he had stayed behind with me when I had stopped walking.

I start walking up to it, everyone else finding their spots to sit in. Price and Gaz are in the pilot seats while Alejandro, König, and Soap are in the back, Ghost still being on the ground waiting for me to get in.

Soap reaches down to help me get on the helicopter, and as he pulls me up I can feel Ghosts hands grab onto my waist, slowly pushing me up. When he lets go I can feel my shirt lift a little, and his gloved hand slightly grazes the skin of my waist.

I can't help but think back to the interrogation room, the feeling of his gloves against my thigh.

Does he still think about it like I do?
