I pace anxiously back and forth outside of the room Valeria is in, trying my best to hear whatever is going on inside. Ghost leans against the wall, watching me as I pass him over and over again.
I hear the doorknob start to turn and I stop, seeing the door opens. Valeria steps out and looks over at me, not even a second passes before we're in each others arms.
I place my hand on the back of her head, digging my fingers into her hair and holding her tight, afraid that if I loosen my grip I'll lose her again. She holds me tight as well, squeezing my ribcage.
"I'll give you two about two hours to eat and shower. We'll have a meeting after." Price says, closing up the manilla folder that holds all of Val's paperwork. I pull away and nod my head at him, leading Valeria back to my room.
-
I set a mug of coffee and the plate onto the table before I walk towards the bathroom door. I knock on it twice before I speak.
"Val? I have some food ready for you." I say. The shower has been off for about 20 minutes now and she still hasn't stepped out of the bathroom.
I don't hear an answer, after a couples seconds of silence I crack the door open. "Val?" I open the door wider and catch her leaning over the bathroom counter, looking over all the scratches and bruises all over her body.
"I haven't looked at myself in a while. Didn't know how bad I looked." She says softly, touching the bruise on her cheekbone. She had a towel wrapped around her body, leaving her arms and legs exposed.
She flings her arms back down to her sides and stares at herself. I look her up and down, seeing all the bruises and scratches scattered throughout her body.
I feel a heaviness in my chest as I take her in, feeling it get even worse when I finally notice the bruises around her throat.
I walk closer to her and grab her hand, making her face towards me. I try my best to think about something to say, anything, but looking at the tears in her eyes that she's trying to push back leaves me speechless.
"Stop holding back." I finally say. "What you went through was horrible Val, stop acting so tough." There was a moment of silence between us as Val looked between both of my eyes.
A small tear fell from her eye, leading to a small cry then actual sobs. I held her as her body shook, slowly leading her onto the floor as I found it harder to hold on to her.
I ran my fingers through her hair as she cried, saying quiet 'I'm here's and 'It'll never happen again'. The more time that passed the harder she cried, and the feeling of hatred I had towards Graves grew stronger and stronger.
After what felt like hours of listening to Val sob she finally slowed, the only noise coming out of her now being small sniffles. I reached over and grabbed a roll of toilet paper, handing it to her. She takes it immediately and starts wiping her face, taking a deep breath once she's done.
She looks up at me, puffy eyes and a red nose. Her eyes travel back to the ground, I assume feeling ashamed about crying that hard in front of me.
I take my hand and place it on her cheek, making her meet my gaze. I don't say anything but give her a small smile, telling her that everything will be okay with just my expression.
She leans into my hand and places hers on top of mine, closing her eyes and taking in one last deep breath.
-
I open the meeting room door for Val and let her walk in, leading her toward the chair I usually sit in. I pull it out and watch as she sits slowly, wincing at the movement.
Once she's fully sat down I push the chair in, the rest of the guys walking in the room right after. Everyone takes their designated seats, Ghost being the last one in and closing the door behind him.
He turns and meets my gaze, nodding his head down once acknowledging me. I give him a small smile and turn my head towards Price.
"Oscar texted Marinas phone this morning, apparently he has another party going on this weekend."
"God, how many parties does this guy throw?" Soap says.
"When you have a lot of money you find any reason to throw a party." Val says, a slight smile on the corner of her lips. I press my own together, trying to hide the smile that's building.
"Anyways, I want to send both of you in. Catch Oscar by surprise bringing Valeria in." Price says, looking towards me and Val. "Same as last time you'll be going in with Ghost. The goal this time is to isolate Oscar. You guys know the layout of the house correct?"
"Yes." I answer while Val slowly nods her head.
"Great, I need you guys to find a room that has some type of outer entrance that the rest of us can get into. It's your guys' job to lead Oscar there, do it in whatever way you have to without causing too much attention."
"Let's hope he's still alive by then." Valeria states. Everyone's head shoots in her direction, a look of worry on their faces.
"Why do you say that?" Gaz asks.
"Well, Graves wants him dead soon. Oscar had the missiles and sold the job right? Guess who knew that he had them." Val says. Everyone looks at her in silence, piecing her words together.
"So you're telling us that Graves and Oscar are working together?" Soap asks.
"They have been since the beginning. The idea was that I was supposed to take the job when Oscar first offered it, then you all were supposed to break in and save the day. I didn't take the job, you all still broke in, and they took me." She paused and looked around at everyone before speaking again.
"At first they promised me I'd only get a couple years in prison if I just took the missiles and made it look like I 'stole' it from them so it didn't look like they're shit at their job by losing them. I kept saying no and well, they stopped asking nicely." She says, looking down at her hands once she's done talking.
"That's why Graves was there at the last party. Probably threatening him not to speak." Ghost says, leaning his body against the door and crossing his arms over his chest.
"Is there any other information that you know?" Price asked, leaning forward pressing his hands down on the table.
"No, I have no idea where the missiles are now. All I know is that if we don't get to Oscar before Graves does, we hit a dead end." A heavy feeling falls over the room as soon as she's done talking. Alejandro puts his elbows on the table and places his face into his hands, rubbing his face slowly.
"Well then let's hope we get there first." Price says, shutting the laptop in front of him loudly.

A/N
Hi everyone! Don't hate me I know it has been weeks since I've updated but genuinely it was so hard to find how I wanted the story to keep going from here.
But we should be back to regular posting! I've once again found my motivation to write so I'm hoping I'll write a lot of chapters in advance.
I see I have a ton of new readers and I'm so grateful for you all <3
See you all next chapter :)
