The Lore Chapter 5

" Commander, Kevin locked himself into his room and hasn't come out for the past 4 hours." Lieutenant Victoria informed Lang. Lang nodded his head and saluted "I'll be sure to check up on him Lieutenant." When Lang started opening the door, it got slammed shut on him. "HEY!!! Kevin, open the door and let me in." Lang tried to force the door open but it would budge "Since when were you this strong!!" After an hour of screaming and pushing, Kevin finally opened the door. "What do you want?" Kevin asked, "Calm down will you, I just want to talk." Lang answers. Kevin stares at him for a few seconds and suddenly his bored expression turns into an enthusiastic grin gasping for air about to say something and pauses with his mouth open grin then suddenly says "No." His face went back to serious and quickly shut the door halfway till Lang's foot caught the door before he shut the door on him which caught Kevin off guard and stared at him through the creek of the door left open. "I wasn't asking," Lang said, glaring back at him. Kevin fell back onto his bed in exasperation. Lang widens the door and enters, closing the door behind him and plopping beside him awkwardly. "Sooo... What's with the whole Rapunzel act? Are you expecting a 'dashing prince' to find you??" Lang teases and emphasizes the prince part, in response Kevin throws a pillow at Lang's face which he weakly defends himself with one hand "Hey, I know you're in a bad mood but you shouldn't be so 'cold' and whatever your holding in just 'let it go'' Lang chuckles to himself, and Kevin throws another pillow harder to his face in response. "Tough crowd, Aladdin (alright then), don't be stuck in this small compartment and let the genie out of the bottle" This time Kevin harshly grabs a pillow and actually sits up to hit him. Lang playfully swats it away, "Come on, I was only trying to make you laugh." Kevin just buries his head back into the bed and this makes Lang sigh "What's up with you man? You're missing your post. You're supposed to be with Odom and you know how troublesome he can be and Roland- " "WHAT. about Roland?? He seems to be in great hands with you.." Lang is taken aback and becomes confused "What do you-" "Or should I say great 'arms'.." Kevin whispers under his breath which makes Lang's eyes prop out of realization "Kevin wait-" "You know what? If it bothers you so much I'll just go to save you the trouble." And Kevin suddenly gets up and walks toward the door swiftly while Lang tries to hold him back to explain but misses his chance and the door is slammed shut with him in the room by himself.
