Lang's pov: (I- What just happened?) "Kevin! What's taking you so long?!" Another knight outside the door was calling out, female, and sounded familiar to Lang. In which he slowly opened the door still looking in shock." Where have you been- Oh. Hello, Captain Lang" The knight who happened to be Victoria saluted him and he saluted her back. "Uh hey..." he said still a bit stunned "Where's Kevin- Woah. what happened to you??" Victoria asked as she looked up at him and he looked as if he were traumatized. "Ugh, things are all messed up and I'm pretty sure I've made the situation worseeee.." he sighed "How so?" she asked "Ughhh y'know relationshipsss, I am not cut out to be a matchmaker-ahhhmmm... *Pointed Cough*" Lang's eyes made an observant discovery that he wasn't talking to just any knight, and his control on his features was smugged off. "Iiii... Uhhhhh mean, hey Victoria I didn't see you thereee!" he says ending with an awkward laugh and leans "cooly" on the doorway but fails, his armor makes him slide off and he nearly falls but catches himself and tries to manage to pull it off as 'smoothly' as he could. Which received a giggle from Victoria and she covered her mouth a bit to hide her smile a little. "Really? Well maybe you'd try checking your eyes'' she teased and crouched down kinda to his level with a devious smile on her face which made Lang blush a little and gulp "Umm and how would I do t-that?" and Victoria stayed a bit silent and looked down a bit as if she were thinking then back at him "By going to the doctor silly?" and she booped his nose which did catch Lang off guard and turned a darker shade of blush and they both stood tall at position and Lang rubbed the back of his neck looking anywhere but at her. "Wanna take a walk with me?" she said starting off the conversation. "Sure, let's" he replied, smiling back at her.

A few minutes later, they find each other roaming the Knight corridors

"Soooo... You said you're having relationship problems?" Victoria questioned "I-uhh.. Haha! Did I say that? Ididn'tsaythat!" he said and she looked at him more intently almost as if she were trying to read him "So how are things progressing?" "What?" "Kevin & Roland? It's Kevin, isn't it? You said you were, and I quote "not cut out to be a matchmaker" so I just assumed you were trying to help someone" she explained "Oh! Yeah.. You're right I was helping someone.. Wow you're really smart" he confirmed, trying to hide his last words from her "Thanks, you're not so bad yourself" she nudged his arm smiling. Which led Lang to stare at her longer than he intended and when she noticed he redirected the attention and cleared his throat "So why aren't you with Princess Meadow?" "Oh. She's at her lessons" and he stared at her questioningly "But don't you still have to be there regardless?" "-With her father, the king." (Oh that's why.) he thought "So you got a day off?" "Hmm yeah kinda like that, I think they'll be at it for a while" "Cool," Lang said oddly and they just continued walking then they continued in silence for a while. Lang wanted to break the silence but couldn't think of anything considering his mind was racing on the right thing to say until he gained the confidence to say at least SOMETHING. "Hey-" "Do you wanna go on a date with me?". Victoria suddenly interrupted.

Back to Sofia & Adam's POV:

"Aha! I found it ''Sofia exclaimed and she came down the ladder, while Adam, who was surrounded by a pile of books on the floor while in the middle of reading halfway through a thick book, looked up at her with a LOT of gratitude "Finally! I felt like my mouth was going to dry out of my own saliva from turning the pages." "Well it looks like our luck has turned, I'm sure this is the book, it looks so familiar!" She opens the book, heading toward Adam as she was about to say something she was interrupted by a *SSHHHHH*! This makes her turn around to find a fellow probably near her age but older, sorting a catalog, shushing her with his finger over his mouth which makes her a little annoyed but manages to hide it and turn back to Adam. "Who is that?'' Sofia whispers into Adam's ear as she finds some examples of the secret tunnels. He looked over in the direction of the guy she was talking about and leaned over to her "That's Mr.Vanya, the royal librarian. 2 degrees and advanced in his school, or so he says. But everyone just calls him Logan the Loud." "A librarian called loud? He just shushed me!" *SSSSHHHHH*!!! Vanya motioned louder looking a bit more irritated which made her a bit annoyed too but still not showing it, when he looked away Sofia does a very exasperated frantic arm motion towards Vanya without saying anything "That's the funny thing, we just call him that because he's so loud when he shushes somebody" he says leaning down to her again grinning. "Ohhh ok" and they both said nothing just staring at Vanya then at each other and giggled quietly and Sofia directed Adam to the first place they might want to check. (He wasn't here the last time I was here... Was he? I'll have to keep an eye on him.)

Flashback

"Jeez... You said it's 11:39?" he said rubbing the back of his neck to which Sofia just nodded her head "Umm I started at around 7:30 so sorta 8..." he said "Wow, this information must be very important to pass along to the prince" "you have no idea.." Adam whispered underneath his breath "What?" she asked "Well.. y'know, it's just kinda hard to pass on information to someone you barely know" he explained "I could do it" she implied quickly, a bit too quickly which made Adam give her a questioning look at her. "I'm just kidding!" she said and giggled it off while Adam relaxed and chuckled along with her ignoring her act earlier and they continued walking "Though... If you're barely close to the prince then why try sending something to him? You don't look like a messenger servant." Sofia asked seriously "Hmm, Kevin sent me" Adam responded to her question "Kevin? Odom's personal guard? But you said you're off on Odom's permission?" "Err wellll... That wasn't entirely true I guess." Adam said nervously as he checked inside a room. "Kevin technically spoke on Odom's behalf" Adam justified (He's just adding lies on more lies..) Sofia thought as she read his mannerisms.''If I recall correctly I last heard that Kevin hasn't spoken to or met up with Odom yet at all today?" she inquired trying to call out his bluff "W-well..." and Adam was left speechless but then a thought came up into his mind "Wait you said the castle had secret passageways?" he said his voice and facial expression getting more excited and unintentionally ignoring her question from earlier "Yes, why?" "Do you think it's somewhere a prince would hide??" which made Sofia think "Yes.. maybe!" and they both lightened up and swiftly headed towards the library.
