Friday Night

"Elvis you know I have school! I'll see you on Saturday."

"Saturday is a mile away, darlin', I need to talk to y'a or I'll forget your voice." Mitchy giggles as she stretched out in her bed.

Elvis and Mitchy have been talking on the phone every night since Sunday, since Mitchy had school.

Mitchy's days have been full of filling in Rosie and Ally about the dinner with the Presleys and Elvis and hers chat on the walk to her house.

The love birds see each other at church, but they had to be focused on the service and not each other.

Luckily for Elvis, who's already attached to Mitchy, Friday was Mitchy's last day of school.

"Elvis."

"Yes, lil' one?"

"It's Friday."

Elvis shakes his head as if Mitchy was in the room with him. The boy really didn't have a clue what she meant.

"Tomorrow is Saturday."

"Well I'm here wishin' it was already Saturday." Elvis says, his classic smirk plastered on his face.

"ELVIS ARRON PRESLEY! GET OFF THE PHONE YOUVE BEEN ARE THERE TO DAMN LONG. MONEY JUST DONT GROW ON TREES, BOOBY." Gladys yells from the kitchen.

"Sounds like you should go, Elvis Aaron Presley, or your mama is gonna Wig Chop you pretty boy."

"She most definitely will. Mama give me one more minute! I'll talk to you later ho-" Gladys, who was standing behind Elvis snatches the phone from his grasp.

"Goodbye, Mitchelle."

Mitchy laughed then went straight to bed.

"Mama I was just boutta get off the phone." Elvis whines.

"Are you goin' pay for that phone bill? Anywho it's time for you to go to bed." Gladys kissed the top of her sons head and patted his shoulder before walking back to the kitchen.

"Yeah, love you mama. Night daddy!" Elvis walks to his bedroom and immediately doses off.
