Shreveport Auditorium
"Oh- I'm sorry. Uh- excuse me- sorry." Mitchy squeezes threw the crowd of people in the Shreveport Auditorium Lobby, eager to get to their seats.
Keeping close to her self, Mitchy held on to the scarf that protected her now straight hair, all in a neat pin-up style. People brushed against the skirt of her dress as she makes her way to the consecution stand.
"Hi- uh- I was wonderin' if you happen to have a Coke o- or- a Pepsi? Anything that will cheer a southern boy up." Mitchy asks, as the older women behind the counter let out a giggle.
"Yes dear, I'll be right back, I have to get it from the fridge in the back." Mitchy just let out a little nod.
The older women came walking back to Mitchy, shoulders straight and head held high. She reminded her of her mother. Mitchy's mom, Denis, always said "walk with pride, or theres no point in walkin'".
"That will be a nickel." Mitchy was snapped out of her trace as the women put a glass bottle of Pepsi on the counter.
"I'm sorry, what did you say."
"That will be five cents for the Pepsi, honey." Mitchy reached into her purse as the women began to spark up a conversation.
"For a boyfriend?"
"Huh?" Mitchy's heart stopped.
"The Pepsi, is it for your boyfriend?" The women points to the ice cold glass of Pepsi.
"Oh yes- well he's not my boyfriend. He's just a friend. He's performing tonight and he's a bit nervous. His mama asked if I could get him somethin' to drink, poor thing is practically shakin' like a dog." Mitchy hands the women a nickel.
"Oh! His mama likes you. Doesn't seem like just a friend if you've met his family, especially his mama." The grey haired women gave Mitchy a wink.
"You have a nice one, honey. Enjoy the show."
"Thank you! Have a nice rest of your day." Mitch turns around and was met with her large, squishy chest.
bump!
"Oh- Hello, young lady! I didn't see you there!" A man with an elephant head cane and cigar in his mouth looks down at Mitchy.
"You better watch where your going. We don't want any other accidents...do we?"
"No, sir." The man extents his hand and helps the girl onto her feet.
"I'm Colonel Tom Parker, and you are?"
"Oh- I'm Mitchelle Levi. Thank you for the help, but I must go. I'm in a bit of a rush." Mitchy looks at the man infront of her. Something was...off.
"What a beautiful name, for a beautiful girl. Now run along, make sure to not bump into any other men today."
"Will do, sir!" Mitchy walks as fast as she can as the man turns his head to look at her, tipping his hat.
Her heels click on the ground as she rushes back to Elvis' aid.
Mitchy wasn't sure what had happened, or if her instinct's were correct, but something about that man made Mitchy's skin crawl.

I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to publish or write, but I finally found some time so for the sake of you all, I decided to cut this chapter short, just to have something to publish. Unfortunately, Mitchy meets the man we all hate😪 and again, unfortunately, we'll be seeing a lot more of him soon. Anyways, hope you enjoyed, don't forget to vote and don't be a silent reader!Current Listen :
