'You're in early. What's to say?' Hobi jumped me out of nowhere with the rest of the guys in the hallway, scaring the crap out of me

'Fucking hell, Hobi. It's too early for a heart attack.' I push him lightly, but he only laughed it away

'Ready to go yet?' Jungkook was grinning, for some reason letting his backpack hang in front of his feet, kicking it as he walked

'I'm mostly ready. It's actually exhausting trying to hide it. I have to keep the suitcase in my mom's room so she doesn't see it. And I couldn't even take out half the stuff out of the closet so she wouldn't notice.'

It's been a damn mission. We are leaving in 2 days, and I have to get so many things ready without her noticing. She is a lot more perceptive than she leads on. She notices the tiniest things, and it gets frustrating at times.

'Almost there, man. We believe in you.' Taehyung patted me on the back

'You do look tired, though. Are you okay?' Hobi asked a bit more seriously

'I am okay, but I am tired. Seeing how she thinks that she won't see me for weeks, she kind of won't leave me alone. And don't get me wrong, I'll never complain about that. But I'm just preparing everything late in the night when she's not with me, so I'm barely sleeping. And being excited doesn't help.'

'To think that your biggest problem would be too much sex... What universe did I fall in?' Taehyung started laughing, and it didn't take long for the other two hyenas to start laughing, too. But he kind of has a point.

'I never saw this problem coming myself.' I laugh along

'Where is she anyway? I thought she'd be stuck to you.' Hobi chuckles

'She took Yujin last night because she won't see him for a while, so she kind of kidnapped him and is taking him to school.'

I always feared that if I ever did find a girlfriend, she would find Yujin to be a bother or take up too much of my time. What I never thought I'd find is a girl who actually adores him as much as I do and treats him like her own brother.

'She loves that little idiot.' Jungkook snorts

'She does. Yet another reason to love her. I don't think I could ever be with someone who is not good to him.'

'Looks like you got your perfect woman from the first try.' Taehyung grinned at me

'Saves me the searching.' I can't even deny it

'Just don't propose to her in New York.' Jungkook and his trolling... might as well troll him back

'I mean, that was kind of the idea. I am not going for no reason.'

'WHAT THE FUCK?!' All three of them screamed loud enough for the entire school to hear

'Are you fucking serious?!' Taehyung almost spat at me with how loud he was

'No fucking way! What in the fuck!?'

'You are still in school!'

'So? I plan on marrying her anyway. This is just a great opportunity to ask her.' I shrug, keeping up the joke. It's funny seeing them sweat

'I get you're in love, but proposing? Are you mental?!' Taehyung was now whisper-yelling at me, trying to stay quiet

'You're 18, you idiot!' Jungkook was about to shit his pants, and it broke me down, so I started laughing

'Oh, you fucker!' Tae started smacking me over the back. 'You gave me a fucking heart attack!'

'Come on, man! Not cool!' Hobi agrees

'Oh, damn.' I had to wipe my eyes cause I actually started crying with laughter. So easy to mess with them.

'I honestly thought you were serious. I was not ready for that.' Jungkook held his heart in a way that you'd think he's proposing to someone

'I mean, half-half.' I shrug. 'I don't have a single doubt that I will do it one day, but that won't happen just yet, so you can relax.'

Hobi was still not over my words. 'How much do you love this girl that you're already thinking about that? You really are crazy.'

'If I could explain it with words, she'd be the first to know. But in short lines, more than anything.'
I get I should be kind of embarrassed of saying this. Guys our age get mocked for way less, as we teenagers are pretty dumb, but I'm honestly just proud to be with her. So they can suck it.

'I'm sorry to kind of shit on your love, but is that guy waving at us?' Hobi points his finger towards the class, and sure enough, he was right

'Is that-'

'Can't miss it, can you?' I laugh at Jungkook who clocked in on the person right away

Her dad was here for some reason, and was walking straight to us. Or me.

'Ah, my son-in-law!' He almost ran to me. 'Morning, fellas.' He bowed at them

'Morning, Mr. Maddox.' I chuckle at him, feeling all three of the guys staring between us.

'Morning, sir.' The three of them greeted him one by one, introducing themselves

'Thank god I saw you. I honestly thought I had the wrong school.' He let out the heaviest sigh I've ever heard

That one made me laugh a bit too much. 'No, you got the right school. Couldn't really miss it. But, what are you doing here?'

'Well, she can't just disappear from school for a month without the school being notified, so I had to find the homeroom professor and the principal to explain and all that.' He looked way too excited

'You know that you didn't actually have to come all the way here? You could have called them.'

'I know, but I have never seen her school. Wanted to see what it's like.' He was all giggles. Even the guys were chuckling a little. 'Oh, oh, did you sort it out yet with the school?'

'Yeah. My mom did it last week. I'm all good.' I nod

'I'm so excited!!' He started patting me on the shoulder. 'I can't wait till you see it. You're gonna love it!' I guess it only clocked in with him now that he hasn't spoken to the rest of them. 'Apologies, boys. I didn't mean to be rude. I'm Angel's dad, Michael. I suppose you all know her.'

'Nice to meet you, sir. And yes, we're all friends.' Taehyung seemed to be back to himself, functioning normally

'Does she only have handsome friends? And all boys?' I think he was serious, but the three of them died laughing, and then eventually he started laughing, too

'Also, I met Yujin last night. He is the cutest thing ever! Can I adopt him?'

'Take him. Please. Save me.' I laugh

His phone started buzzing, so he quickly took it out and then turned almost red. Must be her mom. This man can't be 45. This is hilarious.

'Oh, oh, I gotta go! I'll see you in 2 days. I can't wait!!!' For some reason, it might be American thing, but he just randomly gave me the tightest hug and then ran off.

'What. The fuck. Did I just watch?' Hobi was between shock and laughter

'You weren't kidding. He really is like a golden retriever.' Taehyung snorts

'And they... they are copy-paste!' Jungkook exclaims

'Right? Can't miss the guy.' I chuckle

'Also... son-in-law?' Taehyung raises his eyebrow

'Don't ask. It's all him, man. I don't know either.'

'At least you know you're accepted.' Hobi grins

'By the way, are we still on for tonight?'

A guys night before I leave and all that. This will be an even harder mission. She will be so hurt and or angry, thinking that I'd rather see them when I can see them every day, instead of her when she's gonna be gone for a while. When, in reality, it's the complete opposite.

'Yep. We're on.'
