(Dipper's POV)
We stood there holding hands as rain sprinkled on us for what felt like ages. She just stood there smiling as if daring me to be the one to let go first. I felt heat rise to my face as I looked at her. In my opinion, she looks prettier now right here standing in the rain with me then in her best dress at the party. That dress made her look stuck up and prissy. She looked... Sorta confined to the person her parents want her to be. Her standing here with her hair messed up and a bit of mud on her, she looks like herself. I wonder how she sees herself. Is she happy with who she is, or is she struggling to be the girl her parents want her to strive to be. The type of person how responds to orders by the ring of a bell. The though brings a bad taste to my mouth. That's how you treat dogs not people... Not Pacifica. If Mabel could read my thoughts now she would get all crazy matchmaker on me, so good thing she can't. My smile broadened and I looked into Pacifica's eyes wanting to tell her something I can't express with words, that even I don't know but I want her to know it. Suddenly as if the universe was through with us being all starry eyed and a little awkward, lightning cracked through the sky and the light summer rain began to pour down on our heads. Pacifica jumped back and our hands dropped to our sides. I felt a deep feeling in my stomach. Is that... Regret? But what was there to regret.. Then it hit me. Letting go ( no offense Elsa lel :-3 ). Soooo Pacifica I said my voice sounding off. Yeah she said her hair getting in her face. I felt my face burn so much as I asked do you want to go to the Mystery Shack to hide out until the rain stops pouring..? To my relief she nodded her head and said lead the way a playful spark in her eyes as she elbowed me. I grinned as we started to walk to the Mystery Shack hand in hand. Even though it was raining and my pj's absorbed a lot of water I never felt so warm here in Pacifica's company.
