CHAPTER 52

It's one thing to ignore Malik another to get him out of trouble, but once again Falak found herself in yet another tunnel of grief, She certainly regrets her action, and she would have done things differently.

"Falak, Falak why didn't you call me or someone?"
Do.......

"I'm sorry ." She apologizes for the hundredth time as her father answers his ringing phone.

The police left with Malik and since he refused to let her have the baby they left with her too but Falak doesn't know which station or what happened after, she was left stranded at the house it took hours before she found a taxi to come home and her dad didn't spend the night at home has got back in the morning and Falak narrated what had happened to him, he's beyond furious and has been yelling at her for the past 3hours as he makes calls hoping he would trace his son whereabouts.

She cried because his reaction just made her realize how so unwanted she was, no one seemed to care about her, how she felt, or how what they said would hurt her, She wiped her tears with the back of her hand,
As the parlor door opens.

Fu'ad walks in with the suitcase gaining both their attention.

"Sabah alkhayr(good morning)." he greets them grumpily and walks passed his dad who's looking at him.

"'ayn walidatuk(where is your mother?)

"She's at the police station," he replies and heads upstairs.
His dad asks which of the stations and he replies without stopping disappearing up the stairs.

She feels responsible, She never did what She did with any intention she never thought it would be such a big deal She was just worried about the baby's safety.

He grabbed the keys from the table answered his ringing phone and exited the house, Falak grabbed her veil that was hanging by the door hook and followed him, God knows what was racing through Malik's mind at the moment he must have cursed her and God forbid let him have the opportunity to lay his hand on her she would die for sure.

The elderly man gave her a doubtful look but didn't comment as they hopped into the car each with different thoughts racing through their mind.

************
Getting into trouble was never something that crossed his mind, especially with the law but thanks to Falak she has succeeded in making sure he has a record, he's furious and if care isn't taken if he explodes the consequences would be far from what he bargained for.

Of course, he didn't sleep in the cell, he would never and they wouldn't dare, he sat all night with the baby in his hand thinking of a million ways to kill Falak, he called his mum because he needed someone to come bail him out, he wasn't surprised at all when mubeen and Ahmad show up early this morning.

"How can she call the cops?" his mum lamented as she swayed the baby in her arms.

"You sign here," Ahmad said handing the paper to Malik, he collected it and scribbled his signature on the paper before handing it back to him not sparing him a glance.

He glanced at the little girl who was now sleeping in his mum's arms and looked up to where his two best friends were still talking with the cops, his lawyer was here with two other unfamiliar men he hoped they would erase his name off whatever because the last thing he wants is having a stupid record on drugs charges on his record.
