The race began with the deafening roar of engines, echoing through the circuit. The cars shot off the starting line, each driver striving to gain an advantage into the first corner. As the laps continued to count down, Max's lead extended, and he maintained a strong position at the front of the pack. The tension in the air was electric as the final moments of the race approached. The cheers from the crowd intensified with each passing lap, urging Max on to victory.
Finally, the checkered flag waved, signaling the end of the race. The podium ceremony began, and as Max stood on the top step, next to Lewis and Checo, he looked out into the crowd, desperately searching for a specific person that ghosted in his head the whole race...
He scanned the crowd, hoping to catch a glimpse of her. However, she was nowhere to be found. A sense of disappointment gnawed at him as he realized she wasn't by his side to share in his triumph.
Sarahs POV:
As the engines of the f1 cars echoed through the circuit, Sarah couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. Her heart raced faster than the cars on the track. She had spent the morning with, who left her breathless. But now, as she watched him stand proudly on the podium, she was filled with uncertainty. Sarah had no idea where she stood with Max. Was their connection just a spontaneous one-night stand, fueled by the adrenaline of the race weekend? Or had it evolved into something more meaningful, a potential relationship? Maybe they were simply entangled in a secret affair, neither willing to admit the depth of their feelings.
The thought of confronting Max was daunting. She couldn't bear the idea of him brushing her off as if their morning together had meant nothing. So, with a heavy heart, Sarah decided to stay in the shadows, avoiding the podium and the awkward conversation that would follow.
She knew that by doing so, she was keeping the emotions to her to protecting herself from potential heartache. So she decided to celebrate with the Aston Martin team's garage instead of Max. Her brother Sebastian Vettel's 10th-place finish brought a wide smile to her face. She was truly proud of his achievement. Max's victory took a back seat for the moment as she embraced her role as a supportive sister.
As Sarah found Sebastian, she couldn't contain her excitement. "Hey Hey Hey! I'm so proud of you!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine happiness. Sebastian chuckled, acknowledging her enthusiasm. "You always focus on the positive," he remarked, a hint of self-critique in his tone.
But Sarah brushed off his comment, her joy unshaken. "Points are points, Seb! And you know what we're gonna do tonight? We're going to celebrate!" she declared.
Sebastian may have initially had less enthusiasm for celebration, but he couldn't refuse his sister's infectious energy. Besides, he knew that he couldn't talk her out of it even if he tried. After all, family came first.
