After the wild night at the club, the house slowly came to life. One by one, the group gathered at the breakfast table, each showing signs of a hangover. Kika was the first to shuffle into the kitchen, her eyes still half-closed, and she put on a pot of coffee. Pierre followed her, resting his head in his hand and looking exhausted.
"Good morning," Kika mumbled as she took the first sip of coffee. "I don't think I've ever had a hangover like this."

Charlotte came in, supported by Charles. She sank heavily into a chair. "Can someone please shut the curtains?" she asked with a pained smile, staring at a piece of toast as if it held the key to her recovery. Charles nodded in agreement, sitting next to her with an arm around her shoulders.
Sarah and Carlos were the last to enter the kitchen. Sarah sat down next to Kika and took a large gulp of water while Carlos silently took a seat.
"What a night," Pierre said with a weak smile that looked more like a grimace. "I desperately need something greasy, or I won't survive this."
"Does anyone remember the moment when Pierre danced on the table?" Kika asked, grinning.
"Oh God, please don't remind me," groaned Pierre. "I think I broke a toe."
"And Charlotte, you were flirting with the DJ, remember?" added Charles, gently rubbing her back.
Charlotte lifted her head to look at him. "Nooo, I only remember thinking his music was fantastic."
"You told him to make you a private mix," laughed Carlos quietly. "It was hilarious."
"That was a great night. I think we all showed our best sides."
"I miss nights like that," Pierre remarked. "Life's too short not to enjoy them."
The group settled into breakfast, and the room gradually filled with conversation and laughter, despite everyone's grogginess. Sarah sat between Carlos and Kika, feeling the unspoken tension. She tried to ignore Carlos's glances, but he seemed determined to say something.
After a while, when the table was almost cleared and the hangovers were starting to fade, Carlos cleared his throat and looked at Sarah. "Sarah, can we talk for a minute?" he asked quietly.
Sarah felt a sudden tension in the air and nodded. "Sure, what's up?" she replied, though she already had an inkling.
Carlos led her to the driveway of the villa where it was quieter. The cool morning air and distant sound of the sea mixed with the buzzing of their thoughts.
"Sarah, I..." Carlos began, his eyes searching for the right words. He looked at her intensely, his eyes reflecting a mix of uncertainty and determination.
Sarah swallowed hard, waiting for him to continue. But before he could say anything, they were interrupted by loud honking. Two cars drove into the driveway and abruptly stopped. The headlights momentarily blinded them, and then Sarah saw Max and Lando jumping out of the cars, both with wide grins on their faces.
