The others finished their lunch, while I just picked at my plate. Sunny noticed that I hadn't finished my food.

"What's wrong?" Sunny asked me. I looked at her and said, "Nothing is wrong." She simply nodded and turned her attention to what was happening with Swiss and Sodo. They were . . arguing? What were they arguing about? I paid close attention to them, listening to what they were saying. "Nah, (insert Sibling of Sin's name here) is way hotter than whoever you said," Swiss said, trying to make Sodo annoyed. Sodo let out a low growl, saying, "You're wrong. (Insert name here) is way better looking than them!" Mountain decided that it was time to break up the argument before they could harm each other. He walked over to them and grabbed Sodo, taking him back to the Ghoul's Wing. Of course, Sodo tried to fight back, wanting to be put down, but Mountain didn't listen to his complaints. Swiss' grin reappeared on his face, feeling accomplished.

"What was that all about?" I asked Rain, who was now standing next to me. He simply responded with, "That was just one of their usual arguments." I remained silent, looking around the mess hall. It seemed like the Siblings didn't notice this argument, or they might have been used to it. Eventually, the Sibling started to filter out of the mess hall, starting their next tasks. The ghouls started to head back to the Ghoul's Wing. Before I could exit the mess hall, someone stopped me. It was Papa.

"There you are, Sleepy! I need you for something." He said, grabbing my arm and taking me to his office. Once he closed the door behind us, he said, "I have a very important task for you. I need you to go out to the town and buy me some . . rat food-" Once he finished saying that, a small smile appeared on his face. I nodded, then he added, "Before you go, I need you to have another ghoul or ministry member to go with you. Oh- and you also need this." Papa grabbed something from his desk. It was a pair of car keys and a ring.

Why would I need a ring? I asked myself, then he would speak again, "You are probably wondering why you need this ring. Well, this ring will hide your-" He paused for a moment, then he cleared his throat and continued to speak, "This ring will hide your ghoulish looks and make you look human." He added a smile at the end while I simply nodded. Papa handed me the keys and ring. I left the office and went to go find Rain and ask if he wanted to go with me. I checked the common room, but he wasn't there. Then I went to the dormitories, looking for the plaque that says 'Rain' on it. I found his room and knocked on the door. It took a few moments before someone opened the door, but it wasn't Rain. It was Swiss. I peeked into the room and saw Rain lying on his bed, a book in his hands. "What ya need?" Swiss asked, a smile on his face. I brought my attention back to Swiss, and then I said, "Can Rain go with me to the town? Papa said I needed to take someone with me." Swiss left the door open, walking over to Rain and taking his book. "What do you think, Rainy?" Swiss asked.

He thought for a moment, before saying, "I'll go with you." Rain said with a smile. He got up, putting his reading glasses away and grabbing a ring that was similar to the one Papa gave me. I followed him to the ministry's garage and handed him the key Papa gave me. Rain looked at the key and then walked over to a (insert your favorite car here). Rain opened the garage door, then he unlocked the car and got in the driver's side, while I sat in the passenger's side. "I think we should put the rings on now." Rain said, looking at me with a smile. I nodded and slid the ring onto my finger. He did the same. I looked at my hand, noticing that my usually grey skin was now (your preferred skin tone). I brought the sun visor down, looking into the small mirror. I saw my human self, once again. I looked over at Rain, admiring his pale skin. He gave me a soft smile.

He put the key into the ignition, turning it. The engine of the car started up, emitting a low rumbling sound. Rain put the car in reverse and looked in the mirrors, reversing out of the garage. Once the car was out of the garage, he grabbed a button from the center console. Rain pressed it and the garage closed. After a few minutes of driving, I would look out of the window, admiring the view. It was beautiful. The orange-red leaves, falling from the trees. Wait- orangey-red? I suddenly remembered the ghoul with the fiery-orange eyes. I spaced out, thinking about him.

I was still spaced out, feeling the car come to a stop. Rain would call out to me, but I didn't hear him. Then, I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Sleepy? Are you alright?" He asked me. I looked at him, nodding. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just kind of spaced out." Rain gave me a soft smile, then he'd say, "Well, we're here. What did Papa need?" After I told him what Papa needed from the town, he nodded and exited the car. He waited for me to get out of the car, then he'd lock it. We started chatting about who knows what while walking to the store. He opened the door for me, and I thanked him. We wandered around the pet store, looking for rat food. "Is this it?" Rain asked, pointing at a bag. I shrugged then said, "No clue, he didn't give me the name of the brand." He would bring out his phone and dial a number. "Hey, so- uh- what type of rat food do you need? Hmm, ok, I'll have Sleepy look for it." Rain said, hanging up the phone. "He needs one with the brand, (Insert pet food brand here)." I nodded, then I started to look for it.

After a few minutes of looking, I found the food. I picked up the bag and brought it over to Rain, saying, "This is it, right?" He nodded, taking it from my hands. We walked over to the cash register. Rain placed the food down, taking out his wallet. He paid for the rat food, then we left the store. I opened the door for him, as he put the food in the car. Then he'd say, "Hmm... I'm kind of hungry. We should go to that little coffee shop. I heard the others saying that it was pretty good." I nodded, excited to go to the coffee shop. Rain and I decided to walk to the shop, still chatting about random things.

Once we entered the little shop, a strong smell of coffee hit my nose. The smell was powerful, but not too overwhelming. Rain and I waited in line, discussing what we were going to order.

"What do you think I should get?" I asked Rain, having a hard time deciding. "Hmm, maybe you should get the (insert favorite drink here)." He said. I thought for a moment, and then I nodded, saying, "Yeah, that sounds good. I think I will get it." It was finally our turn to order. Rain ordered his drink, then mine. He paid for our drinks. The cashier asked for his name, and he responded with, "Cosmo." I was confused about why Rain said the name, Cosmo. I decided to ask him about it later. We went to find seats, eventually finding some near one of the windows.
