New Ghoulette

Chapter 3

Once I finished putting the books away, I would try my best to ignore what I had heard the Siblings say. I would walk back to Papa's office, my tail slightly swaying behind me.

I knocked on Papa's door, waiting for an answer. He yelled for me to enter. I opened the door and walked over to his desk, waiting for my next task. Papa looked up from the papers in his hand and said, "Ah- that was the only thing I needed you for, for right now. Feel free to return to the Ghoul's Wing, and your new room is almost ready." I nodded, then exited his office, closing the door behind me. I turned a corner, then I saw him again. His fiery-orange eyes seemed like they were staring into my soul. I stared back at him, then Sunny turned the corner and saw us. She quickly jogged over to me and grabbed my hand, saying, "Sleepy! The girls and I need you for something!" while almost dragging me to a different room.

"What did you need, Sunny?" I quietly said, waiting for her answer. "Uhh- Well- I don't need anything." She said with a nervous chuckle. I looked at her with a confused look, and said, "What do you mean by that?" Sunny's tail flicked due to nervousness, but she remained silent. "Sunny?" I said, slightly tilting my head. "Oh- uh– it's nothing." She said, chuckling. I simply nodded, processing everything she was saying. Sunshine took my hand and brought me to the Ghoul's Wing. Everyone was in the common room, watching a movie Swiss put on the TV. I looked around the room, not seeing the ghoul with fiery-orange eyes and white horns. I grew curious about him, but I remained silent and continued to watch the movie.

After the movie finished, it was around 12:20 p.m. The others decided they wanted to head over to the mess hall to get lunch. The girls went ahead of us, chatting as they eventually went out of my sight.

Rain, Swiss, Mountain, Aether and I started walking to the mess hall. Then Aether spoke up, saying, "Wait- did we forget Sodo?" Swiss looked back at us, and responded to Aether, "Uhh- Well it's not our job to look after him. Plus he is so short it's too easy to lose him." He said with a chuckle. Aether, Mountain, and Rain all had a disappointed look on their faces. "What? It's true." Swiss said with his usual shit-eating grin. Aether sighed and said, "Since you said something rude, Swiss, you have to go get the gremlin." He groaned and started walking back to the Ghoul's Wing, dragging his feet behind him.

So his name is Sodo, I thought to myself as we continued walking. Then I quietly said, "We're not going to wait for them?" Mountain slowed down, now walking next to me, and said, "Don't worry about them, they will meet us in the mess hall." I nodded. After a few minutes of walking, we made it to the mess hall. Rain opened the door for us, and we all headed over to the table and sat down. Once again, a few Siblings of Sin brought trays of food over to our table. I looked down at the tray and noticed it was (insert your favorite food here). My tail swayed, happy to have my favorite food. We all started to dig in, and the sound of laughing and chatting filled my ears.

Swiss and Sodo eventually made it to the mess hall. They took their seats and started eating. Swiss started talking about who knows what, the other ghouls occasionally laughed at what he said. I looked around the mess hall, hearing familiar voices. It was the group of Siblings of Sin that were talking about me.

My tail flicked as I heard them talking. I would pick at my food, mainly trying to focus on what they were saying. Sadly, I was too far away to make out what they were talking about, so I tried to listen to what Swiss was saying. He was talking about, wait- did I hear him correctly? Was he really talking about which Sibling of Sin would be the best in bed? A confused look was plastered on my face, apparently Swiss noticed. He would say, "What's wrong, Sleepy? Did you have someone in mind?" His shit-eating grin was as wide as possible, waiting for my response. Infact, all of the ghouls were waiting for my response. I quickly shook my head, which made Swiss frown. "You're boring." He said, playfully rolling his eyes. The others let out a small laugh while I just looked at Swiss, my tail flicking.
