Real Ones know that Drummers are Hot - (Moe x Reader)

Chapter 7

(Rooney's POV)

I'm just chilling in my room, messing with some instruments and writing some new music to share with the others later today, when I hear some very happy DeeDee noises coming from the living room. I look up from my sheet music and towards my door. I sigh and get up to check out what she's so excited about when she's supposed to be memorizing her lines for the next episode we're shooting. When I get out there, I see her sitting at the computer. 

"Hey Deedee, what's going on?" I start to walk to her.

She turns towards me before I can see what's on the screen, "That girl, Y/N! She posted 2 new videos!"

"Ooo! What are they this time?" I lean down to look at the screen, "Medleys? Oh I bet they sound great!"

Deedee nods, "Should we go get Moe so we can all watch it together?" I nod and we head that way, we can hear him inside practicing his lines. He seems to be having a bit of trouble remembering them. Deedee knocks, "Moeeee!"

He opens the door after a moment, "Yeah? What is it?"

We smile at him, I gesture towards the living room, "There's new videos from that girl who makes covers!"

"Really?" We nod, Moe comes out of his room and shuts the door behind him, "Are they good?"

Deedee chuckles, "We haven't watched them yet, silly!"

I chuckle a little too, "We came to get you so we can watch them together! Now come on!" I head back out to the living room, followed by my siblings. We all pull up a chair and sit down to watch the new videos. Deedee starts one.

(Deedee's POV)

The way the music just flowed all together was amazing, she's amazing! I enjoyed hearing our music put into one big song! It never occurred to me that a lot of our songs just went together so well. I was swaying to the beat with a big smile. The other video was the same medley, but a rock version! She seemed so into that one, rocking out as she played and sung. She got dressed up for both, but the outfit for the rock version had hair like in the 80's hair bands. I stared at that for while. Honestly, it kind of reminded me of Moe! My mind started to wander, I started thinking about what it would be like to be her friend. I have a feeling we would get along well even though our styles are so different! Rooney would love to have her input on music writing, I'm sure that they'd bond over that. And Moe... Well, I just have a really strange feeling that they'd be really close friends.

(Moe's POV)

The regular medley was great of course, she did a really good job stringing our songs together. But the rock one was a million times better, everything about it was better. The combination of the electric guitar and the heavy drums just gave me chills. Watching her absolutely rock out playing the drums nearly had me captivated. Deedee and Rooney probably don't see that the same way I do, but I'm a drummer, and a damn well good one, so I can just feel the passion and love for music through the screen. I just want to see her drum like this in person, I could play m drums too.. There's such thing as a drum duet, right? And her outfit, it's awesome. Her hair is amazing as well, it reminds my of bands like.. Motley Crue, or Def Leppard. I just think it'd be really fun to meet her, and I think Rooney and Deedee would love that too.

(Rooney's POV)

Outstanding as always, she has a lot of talent, and definitely a lot of potential. I've been thinking of sending her an email, asking if she'd like to visit and play some music with us. Deedee and Moe don't know that of course. I know that they'd both be excited to meet her, but if she couldn't come for any reason, they'd be pretty upset. Besides, they'd probably be even happier if it was a surprise. I think I'd like to talk with her privately before I even bring her here, that way I could get a feel of what her personality is really like. One thing that I am a little concerned about though.. I know she must've seen our show, since she knows our songs. I hope it won't be a problem when she finds how that's not how we really are.. I mean, we do act like that, in terms of the core personality traits. But it's a kids show, we really ham it up on camera. I suspect that she'll be okay with that, I'm sure many would understand.

The videos are still playing, and she is rocking out. I look at Deedee, she's smiling. She seems to be watching, but I can tell her head isn't completely in the moment. She seems to be daydreaming a bit.. I wonder what exactly she's thinking about. I turn my attention to Moe. He's not smiling, but he still looks like he's enjoying it I think.. He seems to be like, hypnotized or something, just watching with his jaw hanging open a little. I look at him a little closer, leaning a little to the side so I can see his face a bit better. Now that I'm really looking at his expression, he seems to look a little thoughtful too. I wonder what's going on in his head too. 

After the video's done, we discuss it happily a little before everyone goes back to what they were doing before. Deedee staying in the living room to practice lines, and Moe and I heading to our rooms to pretty much do the same. Except I'm not gonna be learning lines or writing music. I'm gonna be thinking of what I should write to Y/N.
