Real Ones know that Drummers are Hot - (Moe x Reader)

Chapter 5

(Deedee's POV)

I love this cover! Once that one ends, I click on another video to hear more. This is definitely not the normal energy our music usually has.. but to be honest, I'm loving it! People wouldn't take me as the type of girl who listens to rock music, but you can't judge a book by it's cover!

I must've been jamming out a little too hard, because Rooney comes out of his room to investigate, "Heya Deedee, what're you watching?"

I pause the video and look up at him, "I checked our email for fanmail, and saw quite a few people talking about a girl making covers of our music, so I searched her up, and she's amazing! Look!"

He leans down to look at the screen while I unplug the headphones I had on. I adjust the volume, and then press play. The video continues, it's a rock cover of our song, When The Lights Go Out. I smile at the screen, then up at Rooney. His mouth is hanging open a little, he glances at me, "Wow!" I giggle a little and we both go back to watching the video. He grabs a chair and sits down to watch more with me. I guess Moe heard us and wanted to see what was going on too.

He strolls up, "What are you watching?" 

I pause the video and turn to explain, but Rooney beats me to it, "Deedee read some fanmail talking about a girl who makes covers of our songs! She's really good, and she does all of it herself!"

Moe grabs a chair now too, "Really? Let me see!" 

I turn back to the screen and look through videos, "Oh, she did a rock cover of Hey Moe!"

Moe seems a little confused and taken aback, "Rock cover..?" The video loads up and starts, the edgy guitar sounds start up right away.

I notice something in the background though, I pause, "Hey wait-!" The other two seem a little sad that I paused it, but I point at the screen, "Look! It's us! In doll form anyway."

Moe smiles. Rooney points at the screen too, he smiles at me, "She didn't have those in the other videos, do you know what that means?" Moe and I look at each other, confused, we look back at Rooney and shake our heads. He looks between us, "That means she was most likely at our latest concert!"

I check the time when it was posted and quietly gasp a little, "It was posted the day after our concert, but at 3 in the morning! Do you think she made this all in one night..?"

Rooney looks just as bright as I do, but Moe gestures towards the screen, "I haven't even gotten to hear any yet!"

"Oh- Sorry Moe!" I click play again, and we all listen. The drums are really prominent in the song, and the clip of her playing them is onscreen a lot, but I think she did that on purpose. After all, Moe is our drummer, and the songs about him! I look at Moe, and he looks like he's in a trance! I bring my hand to my mouth to make my quiet giggle a little quieter. Rooney hears me though, and looks at Moe too. He looks back at me, smiling bigger that he was a moment ago. We look back at the screen. 

As the video ends, she does one of those drummer tricks. A drumstick flies into the air, and even though it's spinning really fast, she catches it perfectly! She points it at the camera, smiling, and winks. I think that was adorable of her, really. She's got quite a bit of charm!

I look at Rooney and Moe. Moe looks surprised at the trick she did, "Woahhhh..."

I chuckle a little and nudge his arm, "Hey, maybe one day we'll meet her, and she can teach you!"

Moe looks at me with his eyes wide, "You think so..?"

Rooney leans back in his chair and then he gets up, he mutters something as he walks away. I don't think Moe even heard him at all, but I think he might be up to something...
