My alarm had woken me up the next morning. I shut it off before looking at the time. 06:30.I got up and took a quick shower before picking out my outfit for work. I picked out a baggy t-shirt and some leggings.

I started to feel a little dizzy as I was putting my socks on. Well of course I was, I hadn't eaten  since Antonio took me home. I decided that I would just grab an apple on the way out the house. I grabbed my shoes, keys, and phone before quietly walking out my room. I got down stairs and noticed my dads car wasn't home.

Thank God.

I'm still so sore from that last beating, my ribs are covered in bruises not to mention my face. I had to go to the store after my job interview to find a good full coverage foundation. I went to the fridge and grabbed an apple before starting my walk to the cafe.

I got there around 07:15 where I saw Ella inside already starting to set up so I went in.

"Hi Aurora!" I smiled back at her. "Hi Ella and just so you know you can call me Rory"

She giggled a little. "Good to know because thats what I put on your name tag. Oh and your apron is in the back room "

I thanked her before walking to the back and seeing an apron hanging on cabinet. I grabbed it and put my keys down next to Ella's before putting it on.

I walked back out seeing we opened in 8 minutes and saw Ella drinking a latte. "You can help yourself before shift starts, trust me you'll need it"

I laughed shaking my head and making a coffee. "Okay I know you need to know how to make things so i'll just teach you before we open since it's pretty easy."

She taught me everything I needed to know and I started to get the hang of it after the third latte I made. A minute later we opened and I knew it wouldn't be a rush since it was a small shop and most people just went to the Starbucks 5 stores down.

In the span of about 30 minutes 10 people had walked in and there were only five still here. The bell at the top of the door rang signaling that someone had come in.

"Hi, how can I hel-" I paused once I looked up. The same green eyes from that night stared deep into my soul. I smiled, "Well hello Antonio, what can I get you today."

He looked me up and down slowly before meeting my eyes again. "When did you start working here."

"Since today when I got the job, now what can I get you" I sounded a little harsh, I didn't really mean to but I could get back to watching my show after he leaves. "Just a black coffee"

I scoffed, "No wonder you're so grumpy" I mumble quietly.

"What did you just call me"

I froze, forgetting he was right in front of me. I didn't mean to say that, i'm never that mean. "I uhh nothing I didn't say anything."
