A/N
I never really give warnings but I want to say this chapter is what I would consider very intense.I'm going home.
Something's wrong, I can feel it. Rory won't tell me, but I could hear it in her voice. She wasn't okay.
Fuck, I'm so mad at myself for leaving her home alone. I could've brought her with me but it was to dangerous.
Finally, hours later i'm racing the fuck home and seeing my girl. Luckily no cop pulled me over based on how fast I was going so I made it home from in less than 30 minutes.
I grabbed the keys to unlock the door but when I turned the knob it was already unlocked. I walked in quietly in case Rory was asleep since it was around 12 am.
I noticed a figure sitting on the couch and when I got closer I realized it was Rory. She was sitting up on the couch with her head down. The lights were dimmed but not bright. I turned them up a little so I could see her.
I could hear her mumbling things but it was barely audible. I thought back to my PTSD episodes. This is exactly what I did.
Maybe her dad? I turned up the lights a little more and she still hadn't noticed me. But her fucking clothes were covered in dirt. I thought the absolute worse. Who did this to my girl.
"Rory" I whispered as I stepped closer. She still didn't notice me. I took a few more steps until I was right in front of her. I crouched down and put my hands on her knees.
She immediately flinched and her head shot up to me. Her mascara was running down her face. Her eyes puffy and red, looked like she had been crying for hours.
"Antonio?" she whispered.
"What happened?" I said.
"Nothing"
"Don't lie to me"
"Nothing"
"Rory" I said in a firm voice.
Her eyes filled with tears before she swallowed and tried to keep them back.
"Nothing" she said again.
"I'm here, tell me, you need to tell me"
She let out the sob that she had been holding, "Nothing."
I picked her up from under her arms and sat on the couch placing her onto my lap and putting her head on my chest. She kept crying and saying nothing over and over.
"Rory, please you need to tell me." I whispered in her ear.
Another loud sob broke through her, "Nothing!" she screamed into my chest and fisted my shirt in her hands.
"Shh, it's okay, you're okay. Nothing happened."
She continued to cry until she finally calmed down and fell asleep in my arms. I picked her up gently and brought her up to our room laying her on the bed.
