𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈 sat in her queen-sized bed with her two best friends, Destiny and Jayda, scrolling through TikTok on her iPad.
"Chile, Chris Brown so mufuckin' fine! When I tell you, he can have me any day." Destiny threw her head back, laying at the foot of Ashanti's bed, as her and Jayda laid at the top.
"Mm, nah. He just don't give for me. His music a vibe, though." Jayda shrugged her shoulders, typing away on her MacBook.
"Jay, you only say that cause you deadass in love with Demari crazy ass." Ashanti cursed, causing all three of them to laugh.
Destiny was a girl that Jayda and Ashanti had met over at the park they'd always go to when they were young. She came up to them, and they'd been inseparable ever since.
"That's my man, and I don't care." Jayda smiled, texting Demari back. They were now together after doubting their feelings for so long, and Jayda was the happiest woman ever. She was proud to say she'd wanna marry him one day.
"Period. Anyway, y'all working tonight?" Ashanti inquired, sitting up, turning her phone off and putting it on the charger since it was on one percent.
"Nah, Mari taking me out to dinner." Jayda answered, saving her work, and closing her computer.
"Me neither. I'm going to visit my granny later on today." Destiny spoke, and Ashanti groaned in annoyance, making the other two laugh.
"Y'all hoes always do this to me." Ashanti playfully rolled her eyes. She wished she could call out, but she needed the money, and she couldn't play about it.
"You should've called out too, Shanti. All you ever do is work, and Khaza be missing you girl." Destiny insisted, and Jayda nodded in agreement.
Ashanti had a one year-old baby boy, named Khaza. She was so happy when she brought him into the world. He was her peace, and she couldn't thank the Lord more. However, kids do cost. So, she was currently working as a dancer at a local club close to her home. of course, she didn't wanna work on the pole, but it was the only way she could get quick money, at the moment. Destiny and Jayda decided to work along with her, just to help her understand that she wasn't alone. She was so thankful for them, words couldn't even express it.
