Chapter 6

(Jamie's POV)

I walk out of the room, and look around. I don't know my way around this house, but Kanen's scent is still heavy in the air, so I just follow it. I walk a ways, and something amazing hits my nose. Right on time, my stomach growls angrily. If I could speak stomach, I bet it would be saying 'feed me bitch!". I completely forget about Kanen's scent and follow the smell of food.

I turn a corner and end up in the kitchen, but stop when I see its not him. The guy turns and looks at me, smiling like he knows me already.

"Hello sleeping beauty, would you like some eggs and Bacon?" He said pointing to the delicious food on the sleek black table. Now that I look around, the kitchen is actually really nice. The counters were the same black surface as the table. The table its self had tall black cushioned chairs. The fridge, and sink were stainless steal. There was a mini bar over to my right with all different types of liquor set up behind it, and a guy was sitting there drinking a glass already. I think that was the guy who thought he could get some by acting corny as hell. He just glanced at me, and looked away.

"Sure, I'm starved! Hey, do you know where Kanen is?" I said as he handed me a plate and told me to help myself.

"I think he is out back, but you sit down and eat first, I'm sure he'll be here in a minute." He smiled and went back to cooking, and I went strait to eating before my stomach doubled over and ate its self.

(Kanen POV)

I scared her. I shouldn't have fallen asleep. I should have just put her shirt on her, and waited for her to wake up. Any chance that I had with her, is gone.

She is awake, and asking about you.

Riley spoke in my head. She is asking about me? But she looked so mad. I thought that once she got dressed that she would leave me, and I would never get to see her again. No. Maybe I'm over reacting. She is my soul mate. There is no way she could stay away for long... Right? Surely she felt everything I felt.

I step back inside, through the sliding doors to find her eating like a pig. It was a sight to see. She looked like she hasn't ate in days. She has a piece of egg on her cheek, and her mouth is stuffed so full that she reminds me of a chipmunk. 

I couldn't help but laugh. She looked up at me in shock, her face turning read. She swallowed her food, and wiped off her face with a towel. Looking down she mumbled something I didn't quite catch.

"Say again?"

"I said sorry, I'm just really hungry." Her face getting a darker shade of red. I didn't think that was possible, but she did it.

"Oh no, don't mind me. Eat all you want, I just find you amusing to watch, that's all." I said with a small chuckle.

She shot me playful daggers. Riley spun around in his stool to face me, he had a smirk on his face.

"What?" I asked, not getting his expression.

"She's got a big mouth... Gotta be careful with that one." He said turning and winking at her. Her face was priceless. Her jaw hit the floor, and her eyes bugged out of her head.

"EW! You perv!!" She screamed in a high pitched voice. Niko, Riley, and myself all covered our ears quickly. Stupid wolf senses, better hearing is a pain sometimes.

"Whoa whoa whoa little lady. I was talking about you going around and telling all your little friends our secrets... What where you thinking?" Smirking at her, and waiting for her to reply.

"I-I-... Shut up!" He roared into laughter. She crossed her arms and glared at him.

"Hey I'm not the one with their mind in the gutter, if I can recall correctly... That would be you." He said laughing at her, even I had to laugh at that. Though, I know for a fact that Riley was NOT talking about secrets.
