Ayanokouji POV
It was around mid August. The summer heat seem to have lessen a bit after torturing us for months. But it was still pretty humid along with some occasional rains.
"It's sooo hot...."
The blonde haired, seven year old girl whined beside me, even though we were under a shelter.
Currently, we were in a shooting spot at the western side of Tokyo.
The reason for being here was because Aqua was scouted for a film again. This was his third one, if I am not wrong.
Although it wasn't a major role, depending on his acting skills, it might impact the movie.
"Focus the camera from above!"
The director of the film yelled, as they positioned themselves for who knows how many times now. Even watching them work is tiring me out.
"I want some ice-cream," I muttered, but Ruby heard me.
"That's what the kids should be saying, not you!"
What was this blatant discrimination? Being an adult doesn't mean you have to be mature all the time. Seeing my disdain look, Ruby let out a giggle.
"When it comes to ice cream you really look distressed."
I kept quite as she made fun of me.
"Don't you aspire to be an idol like Ai?"
Ruby perked up at my sudden question and puffed.
"Of cou-"
"Then you should also follow in her footsteps and reject junk foods completely such as ice cream. Return to veggies."
"WAH-!"
Her shock was amusing to watch. Not that her own mother sticks to the rules anyways.
"I-I was just kidding Kiyo-nii...."
"Me too."
As I said that, Ruby's eyes perked up.
"....for now."
Her face paled instantly, as she audibly gulped. I do plan on supporting her, but that is if she can keep with my strictness.
"I am back."
We stopped to see Aqua walking towards us, looking very exhausted.
"Good work," I said so and gave him a drink.
"Yeah..." He opened the can and quickly drank it.
"You were great out there onii-chan!"
Ruby cheerfully said.
"I have one more scene left, and this would be finally over," Aqua said, sighing exasperatedly.
"Don't be so grumpy. I think it would be great if you can debut as an actor in the future," Ruby happily said, while imagining such a scenario.
"Good grief..." Aqua muttered.
Well, Aqua didn't want to do this in the first place, but I was the one who encouraged him. He has great potential as an actor, even if he denies it now.
For a minutes, we were chatting casually, when the director called.
"Get ready for Take 70."
Aqua sighed.
"That's my call..." he slowly got up.
Ruby kept encouraging her twin sibling as the golden haired boy walked away. My phone vibrated at that moment as I looked to see a message.
