"Sorry, I'm a massive cuddler." Louis said as they woke up in the morning. He moved away.
"I don't mind." Harry replied.
"Why am I your bed?" Louis asked.
Harry turned around so he could see him.
"You were drunk and lonely.""Never a good combo." Louis snorted. He rubbed his face and his eyes widened.
"Wait, did I bring someone home with me?""Uhm, yeah. A girl." Harry answered.
"Fuck! No no, no. Amy, our trainee. Crap! Oh fuck, I told her I couldn't get it up. What the hell is wrong with me?" Louis said, looking absolutely horrified.
Harry couldn't help the giggle that escaped his lips. Louis glared at him.
"It's not funny!""Yeah, it is." Harry replied and burst out laughing.
"Well, I better stay off booze until I stop drinking destructively. I'm gonna take a shower." Louis said and got out of bed. He found his clothes on the floor and picked them up before he walked out.
Harry wondered if he got offended because he laughed. He better check later. He got up as well and threw on a robe and headed to the kitchen. He decided to cook a steady breakfast, hash brown, egg yolk, coffee and toast. The perfect hangover food.
Louis walked into the kitchen just as the food was ready. His hair was messy and Harry had to bite his tongue so his inner thoughts about how cute he looked didn't reach the surface.
"Hungry?" He said instead."Yeah." Louis said. He opened a cabinet and picked up two plates and walked over to the stove. Harry put food on them and Louis placed them on the table before he grabbed some cutlery. Harry poured them two cups of coffee in the meantime. They took a seat.
"Hey, I'sorry that I laughed about your ehm, one-night stand.""Not much of a one-night stand, was it?" Louis smirked.
"Still. Will it be awkward at work?" Harry asked.
"Probably." Louis shrugged before he started to eat.
His phone rang in the middle of breakfast. A sigh escaped him as he looked at the display but he answered it.
"What?"Harry glanced at him. Louis furrowed his brows.
"You can't do that!"That got Harry's attention. He continued to eat but was obviously eavesdropping.
"Well, I bought most of the stuff! Then I'll take all me things."He must be talking to Eleanor. Louis looked angry.
"You should have thought about that before you made this fucking call. I'll be there soon. Don't be home!"Louis hung up and looked at Harry.
"Eleanor's gonna throw away stuff if I don't pick it up today.""She can't do that!" Harry protested.
"She can and she will." Louis snorted.
"Alright, then we'll go get it. I'll call the boys." Harry said and got up.
"I said I'll take me furniture too. Maybe I should just let her have it." Louis muttered.
"Absolutely not. Get on the phone. Rent a truck." Harry said.
"I have nowhere to store them." Louis sighed.
"My storage room is pretty empty. Don't worry, we'll make it work." Harry answered.
"Yeah?" Louis questioned.
"Yes. Rent a truck." Harry said.
"I can't drive a fucking truck! Can you?" Louis wondered.
"Oh. True. Ehm, hire a trailer then. We'll go back and forth." Harry smiled sheepishly. He had been so problem-fixing-oriented that he didn't think of the details.
"Yeah, alright, I can do that." Louis said.
Harry went to get dressed and called the boys. They dropped everything and promised to be at Louis' old flat in an hour.
Harry went to tell Louis who had managed to rent a trailer. They took his car and went to get it. The boys were outside his apartment when he arrived. Louis found the keys and unlocked the door. Eleanor came into the hallway.
"I told you to get out while I pack up me things." Louis almost growled."I have to make sure you don't take anything that's mine." Eleanor answered.
"I don't want your clothes." Louis said and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Well, half of yours is mine!" Eleanor almost screamed.
"You fucking bloodsucking b...." Louis growled and Harry stepped in and interrupted him.
"Lou, just leave it. Come on. Put stickers on everything you want us to carry downstairs." Harry handed him a block of Post-its.
The guys just stood in the doorway awkwardly. Louis stomped into the living room and smacked post-it notes on the TV, Playstation, couch, coffee table, and lamp.
"Are you gonna take all of it?" Eleanor asked."I paid for it." Louis said.
"Half of it is mine since we're married!" Eleanor yelled.
Louis rolled his eyes at her but removed the stickers from the couch and TV bench before he headed to the kitchen. He put stickers on all of the chairs but left the table.
"Really?" Eleanor huffed."Yep." Louis smirked.
"You're so petty!" Eleanor growled.
"Definitely! That's why I'm taking all the lamps and light bulbs too." Louis replied. He turned to his friends who were trying to make themselves invisible in a corner.
"You can start to carry the things I put stickers on downstairs."Niall almost fell over as he hurried to grab two chairs. Liam and Zayn took the other chairs and they all hurried out of the apartment. Louis and Eleanor were glaring angrily at each other.
"I can't believe you have to act like a child just because I want to get a divorce." Eleanor said."It's not that, it's the way you asked for a divorce. A fucking text, El! Seriously?" Louis growled.
"So? The outcome is the same." Eleanor shrugged.
"I think I deserve more than that! We've been together for years!" Louis shouted.
"Don't act like we've been happy and you didn't see this coming. I don't think you ever loved me." Eleanor said.
Louis gasped and Harry thought it was time to step in.
"That's not fair, Eleanor."Eleanor's eyes landed on him. He shuddered. It looked as if she hated him.
"You shut your mouth, Harry. Don't act so innocent. You're a big part of the problem.""Don't talk to him like that." Louis snapped.
"Of course, you're defending him." Eleanor laughed humourless.
Harry was confused. It felt like he had missed a huge part of the conversation. What was going on? Louis grabbed his arm and pulled him away.
"Ignore her."They headed to the bedroom. Louis opened the walk-in closet and found a bag. He threw some clothes in it. Harry helped him out. Eleanor showed up.
"Are you taking the bed too?""No, I don't fucking want it." Louis muttered.
Two hours later they had managed to pack all of Louis' belongings and left the apartment. They put most of it in Harry's storage before they headed into the apartment. Harry cooked them dinner. Eleanor's words kept playing on repeat in his head. How was he a big part of the problem? He had kept his distance since the wedding.
