GON POV:
I was woken up by the sound of my alarm, saying it's 6:00 am and it's time for me to get ready for college. This will be my first day and I'm very nervous! But at the same time excited.
I turned to my right and saw Killua sleeping peacefully, lightly snoring, he came back late last night, I wonder what he was doing?
Ever since i moved into my apartment, Killua has been coming around often , sometimes even for sleepovers like this one, but I'm not complaining, I'm so happy to have him here with me, it's almost like we're living together, I hope that day comes soon.
I gave him a kiss on the forehead and went to get ready for the day.
I picked a dark green hoodie and some black jeans, since it's gonna be cold.
After I had my breakfast I wrote a little note for Killua and stuck it on the fridge.
"Dear Killua, I'm leaving for college now but please rest today, you don't have to go to work today, right? Help yourself to anything, make yourself at home. Love Gon xxx" I stuck it on the fridge, grabbed my essentials and walked out the door.
I walked into the building and went up to the principals office and grabbed my schedule. Seems like I only have two classes today that's great!
I have maths and biology today. I'm thinking when I grow up I'm gonna be a biologist but the thing is, the work is super hard and I need to study for it to actually know what it is.
We were paired up into groups of three, I was paired up with two boys.
One had spiky black hair with glasses, and the other had short blond hair and grey eyes.
"Hi I'm Kurapika, this is my friend Leorio. Are you new here?" The blonde introduced himself.
I smiled, "yeah I am it's my first day here"
"Well I hope you enjoy it here at HC (hunter college) and I hope we can become good friends" Leorio said, wrapping his arms around Kurapika.
I giggled at his sudden action to the other, "me too! Ooh my name is Gon by the way" I perked up, almost forgotten to say my name.
"Nice to meet you, Gon" they both shook my hand.
After that it was break and me, Kurapika and Leorio decided to sit together and talk.
"So Gon, where are you from?" Kurapika asked, as he stabbed a piece of his food.
"Ohh I'm actually from Whale Island, but I moved into the city York New, to be um well...close to my partner"
"You have a girlfriend already?!" Leorio choked on his food as he dramatically gasped.
Kurapika pat his back harshly, "Leorio! Don't be silly" Kurapika snapped.
They both turned to me to continue. "Umm well technically they aren't my girlfriend but um...boyfriend" I said, sheepishly.
Both of their eyes widened , "oh I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding" Kurapika said.
"Oh it's okay! I get that a lot"
"What about you guys?"
"I came here because I wanna become a detective, I've always had a thing for mystery and I like helping people" Kurapika said, folding his arms proudly.
"Wow that's so cool! What about you Riolio?"
"ITS LEORIO! Geez why do people mix up my name?! Is it that hard to pronounce?"
"Yes it is actually" Kurapika tapped his chin.
Leorio growled, "well your name is so freaking long! Im gonna have to call you Pika"
"Pika? As in...Pikachu? You guys like pokemon?" I gasped.
They both stared at me for a second and then burst out laughing, "well we do like anime but no, it's not based off that, but come to think of it, we have the same nickname" Kurapika laughed.
"Anyway, im here to become a doctor! Just like Kurapika im into saving people and all that" Leorio waved his hand.
"Awesome! You guys have interesting Carriers in mind....I don't know what I wanna do...im thinking a biologist because I like that kinda stuff but then again im really into animals" I was thinking so much that my head was hurting.
Kurapika and Leorio both laughed. "Well you just started college buddy, no rush" Leorio said, I smiled at him.
The second bell rang for our next and final class.
"By the way, what does your boyfriend do?" Leorio asked as we walked into the building.
"Uhh he's the head of his own company, well it's technically his father's but he's taking charge now, although he doesn't really want to" i said
"Own company? Damn he must be a rich then! What company is it?" Leorio tilted his head at me and put his hands in his pockets.
"Uhhh....Zoldyck Industry"
They both went silent for a minute.
"Back up back up-you're telling me, that your boyfriend, the Killua Zoldyck himself the owner of the biggest assassination business in the country is your BOYFRIEND?!" Leorio yelled.
Kurapika covered Leorio's mouth.
"As much as im shocked to hear this , it will be helpful if you don't draw so much attention" Kurapika hissed.
"Wait! Killua is a big deal here?" I asked
"HUGE!!! They came out of nowhere one day and started making lots of money by killing people, I mean a bit gore and dark and tragic but you knew that right? You're dating an assassin!" Leorio cried
"Yeah he told me back in high school..." I rubbed the back of my head.
"You two knew each other in high school?! .....Kurapika! Catch me im gonna faint" Leorio said dramatically.
Kurapika pushed Leorio off him. "Don't be weird...Gon...you ok?"
"I-I knew he was an assassin, former at least, but he never wanted to be one! His family is forcing him to do this and it's not fair! But back home....they were undercover all the time thanks to some unwanted enemies, that's why he moved! That's why he moved away from me!!" I realised I was shouting and looked at Kurapika and Leorio, I don't realise but tears were coming out.
"Im sorry it's just-"
"No it's okay Gon we get it, it must've been hard for you to be separated from your loved one. We should know" Kurapika said.
I looked at them, "we'll talk more about this later ok? Come on we'll be late for class" Leorio patted me on the back and dragged me along.
I got home at lunch time. I was hit by the smell of food coming from my kitchen.
"Gon!" Killua cried, he rushed up to me and kissed me.
"How was your first day? You look tired" Killua said as he pushed my hair back.
"It-it was ok. I made some new friends" I faked smiled.
"I'm glad! Want something to eat?" Killua ran to the kitchen and grabbed some plates.
"No thanks Killua I'm not that hungry right now, I'm gonna have a bath then eat with you" I kissed him on the cheek and went into my room.
"Ok..." Killua said from the kitchen and set up the table.
