KILLUA POV:
I was sitting on the bus, I was visiting my old home I dreaded so much. Kukuroo Mountain.
I got off the bus and headed towards my massive gate and opened it. Pretty sure I can open them all by now. All 7.
I walked into the living room and I saw my mother and Baby Kalluto, damn he's grown so much!
"Kil?! Ohh Kil my darling it's so wonderful to see you!" My mother squealed and sprinted towards me and gave me a hug.
"Where's dad?" I asked. She pulled away from the hug and frowned at me.
"You haven't been home in years and you don't even say hello to your mother?!" She screamed. I roll my eyes "well if you tortured someone for years would you expect them to even look at you, let alone let them touch you?" I snarled back.
My mother flinched "it was just training Darling no need to get worked up" she waved her hand.
I pulled an evil grin, "come near me again and you will wish you never touched me" I snarled and walked to the direction of my dad's room.
"Ohh Kil~such a threatening look~" I hear my mother coo.
"Mother" Kalluto chimes in.
"Yes Kalluto dear?"
"Don't be weird" he says as he takes a sip of his tea.
I giggle by hearing the conversation in the background as I'm walking.
"KALLUTO!" My mother screamed.
I'm surprised she hasn't had a voice strain after all that shouting.
I went into my father's office , he was on the phone to some client.
"Ah here he is now! Don't worry I will get back to you" he hung up and put his phone to the side.
"I'm guessing you're here to quit the business am I right?" My father looked at me, I nodded and gave him my form.
"All your clients are gone, I set them free on the last day" i said.
My father nodded, "Illumi just told me. Honestly I'm not surprised" he leaned back in his chair, gesturing for me to sit next to him.
I sat down, "dad I-"
"Go to him"
I turned my head around in confusion.
"Sorry, what?"
"That boy you're living with, he means a lot to you doesn't he?"
I blushed and rubbed the back of my head.
"Well we aren't exactly living together but.... I hope to one day" I mumbled.
My dad chuckled. "It's okay I will just let Illumi run the company, it is his dream after all, I don't want to pressure you into doing something you don't want to do" my dad gave me a reassuring smile. I smiled back.
"Thanks dad" I hugged him and walked out the room.

It was about 10:00 at night when I arrived at my apartment.
I flopped on my sofa and decided to call Gon.
"Hello Killua?"
"Hey um, can you come over?"
"Sure, on my way" he hung up and I let out a sigh.
"Gon.....Gon....Gon" I muttered to myself and laughed.
15 minutes later and I heard the doorbell ring.
I sprung up and opened the door.
"Hey Kil-ooh" I cut off Gon by giving him a hug, and he hugged back.
"Guess what?" I smiled at him.
"What?"
"Come sit down first, stop standing in the door way" I pointed at the doorway and we both laughed.
Gon sat down on the sofa next to me.
"My father let me go" I grinned.
"What do you mean? He let you quit?"
I nodded happily, Gon hugged me again.
"I'm so happy for you!" I squealed and started jumping up and down.
"Gon Gon! Take it easy" I shoved him off and he giggled "sorry" he stuck his tongue out.
"Can't believe it's nearly been a year huh?"
{A/N: the timeline in this story has already been a year and Gon has almost finished college}
Gon smiled at me "yeah it has"
We sat in comfortable silence until I remembered something.
"Gon wait here!" I scurried out of my seat and rushed to my room.
I went into my closet and took out a white mini bag. Inside was the ring. I'm ready now.
I took out the miniature box and put it in my back pocket.
But as soon as I reached the door handle my hand started shaking.
"Calm down....calm down" I whispered to myself and went to join Gon in the living room.
"Everything ok?" He asked as I sat down hesitantly.
"Y-yeah Gon. I wanna tell you something" I took both his hands.
He blushed and looked at me. "Yes Killua?"
"I um-I just wanna say you know i love you right?" I smiled at him.
He was a bit stunned he blinked a few times, "uh-huh" he nodded in disbelief.
"Well umm....gahhh screw that!" I shook my head to the other side. Gon looked at me confused.
I pulled out the ring.
Gon's jaw immediately dropped and tears started flowing.
"Gon....will you-"
"YES!!!!!" He suddenly cried and hugged me tighter than before.
I chuckled "you didn't even let me finish" I squeezed him back.
"I'm sorry I couldn't hold it in any longer, I love you!"
Just then Gon crashed our lips together. I kissed back.
"I love you more, idiot" I said and kissed him again.
