Business x Friendship

I woke up at 6:00 am in the morning like I do every morning.

I wash my face and do my teeth etc...for some reason I'm really excited to see Gon today! But then I heard a knock on my door.

I opened the door and it revealed Illumi.

"Illumi? What's up?" I asked

"You're going on a business trip today" Illumi said.

"Wait what?! I have school!"

"I already informed your principal you will be off today. Pack your things" Illumi said and walked away.

I sigh and went to my phone to text Gon.

-Killua to Gon 💚-

Killua: hey I won't be in today, business stuff :(

Gon 💚: what?! No! Bestie 😭

Killua: I'm sorry I will make it up to you 💜

Gon 💚:  better be good 😌

Killua: baaaaka 🙄

I shut my phone off when I hear Illumi call my name and went out my room.

The car ride was silent, Gon kept messaging me but I had to put him on silent, Illumi couldn't know, I also question why he still has his phone on him at school?

"Nervous, Kil?" Illumi suddenly spoke up, making me jump.

"Huh? Absolutely not, more like bored" I said as I rest my head in my palm and looked out the window, seeing all the sights zoom by.

Our butler dropped us off into this abandoned building. Looks suss, but I question everything this family does so it's nothing new.

I saw my dad with a bunch of random guys I've never seen before and my grandpa, sitting around the table with a planned out board.

"Ah Kil! You're finally here, please take a seat" my dad gestured and I took the seat next to him, Illumi just stood next to grandpa.

"What's going on?" I asked my dad, he put his hand on my shoulder.

"We are gonna find the bounty hunters whereabouts. I saw some people lurking around our house last night" my dad announces, I look up at him.

"Last night?"

"I know where they're hiding, we will barge in and kill them all! No one comes near my family" my dad's voice boomed with anger throughout the building.

"Kill?"

"Killua? I leave the boss to you" my dad looked at me with a grin, I was feeling uneasy, I didn't care how tough the boss was, I just didn't feel like getting blood on my hands right now.

"Kil, you seem to hesitate" my father speaks up.

"No no no. I'm ready" I said and walked to where the location was set.

I ran up to the top of the building. I saw four guys with swords and knife's attached to their backs all dressed in hunter gear.

They looked to me. "Get loss kid! This isn't the place for you!" One man shouted.

I went completely dark mode, my eyes had no colour left in them, my hair spiked up, so did my nails. I charged into one of them and stabbed them right in the chest.

The rest of the guys started to scream.
Some charged at me with their weapons, I snatched them out their hand and broke them all and stabbed them all in the face.

"Weak performance" I hear my brother say as he came out to meet me, he had three needles in his hands and shot them at the three other guys who are now dead on the floor.

"That was too easy" I said as another guy came out of nowhere and tried to attack me but I knocked him out.

"Something seems...different about you. It's like you have no bloodlust" my brother says as he knocked another person out.

Now they were all dead.

"I'm done here" was all I said and walked back downstairs, Illumi still looking at me with rage.

That night when I got home I immediately flopped on my bed and took out my phone. A lot of messages from Gon!

Gon 💚: can we meet after you're done?

Gon 💚: Killua please pick up!

I laughed at the message.

Killua: hey I'm back home

Gon 💚: Killua! How was it?

Killua: boring as hell....

Gon 💚: wanna hang out with me instead?
:D

Killua: sure thing just give me a minute

Luckily everyone was in their room so I snuck out the front door.

I went to Gon's house and knocked on
His door, luckily he came out.

"Killua!" He squealed and gave me a hug.
"Hey" I said.

We walked down to a near by park. Gon got out his bag and gave me a tiny box.

"Gon..."

"I brought this for you...it's matching friendship rings...I've figured we've known each other for a couple weeks now and I consider you my best friend so-"

I didn't know what I was thinking, my body moved on its own.

I shared my very first kiss, with Gon Freecss.
