I was dreading the moment I came into the class because I knew what awaited me were countless questions and teasing from the girls who had relished in knowing the details of everyone's lives. I sighed when I entered the classroom and felt the multiple of eyes following me towards my seat.

"We heard you were busy with Myeol on Saturday, girl," Charlotte said as she moved her messy bangs away from her face and tucked it behind her ear. I scrunched my eyebrow at the new bull ring that was on her septum and wondered when she got hers done since I hadn't noticed it from the last time I've seen her, which was a few weeks ago since she was "tired" of the useless syllabus that she could've caught up by herself in a few days.

"No, I heard that she was doing unlawful things with him," Christine whispered teasingly and everyone roared with laughter at her statement. "You should go to the church to repent because you have done a great sin." I rolled my eyes at the familiar statement that would be given to Christine whenever she was caught in bed with somebody. The parents would always look at her in disgust before saying these words and Christine would always use it to tease the hell out of us.

"I don't need to repent because we done nothing wrong. It was a simple kiss, that is all," I replied and then turned towards the front of the class when I heard the familiar clacking of heels of the short maths teacher who was known for her furious tongue and harsh hand that she enjoyed using on her students.

"You look adorable," Myeol said the second I laid onto the blanket that he placed on the grass. I hadn't wanted to go on this picnic date with Myeol since my mother was concerned with the amount of relaxation I had when my finals were around the corner, she constantly shouted me, threatened that she would take away the phone that I had gotten and tried every method in the book to get me to stay home.

Honestly, I had taken notice on her frustration and promised myself that I would not go out until the exam month was completed but my promise fell out of my mind when Myeol came to me with a cute little picnic basket and asked me to accompany him to the park where we could relax for 2 hours. He had promised that it would be only 2 hours and that he would leave me alone for a while until I've caught up with the work that I had complained that I was missing.

"Thank you," I said with a blush creeping into my cheeks and I turned laid my head onto his chest, listening to the calming beat of his heart whilst trying to not show the blush that was extremely apparent.

I hadn't wanted the day to end with him. The day was so perfectly crafted. After a long day at school, we were seated in an empty park, watching the sun setting whilst snacking on the little sweets and fruits that Myeol packed for us. It was a perfect end to the recent dates that we had but I wanted none of it to end.

"You need to go home before your parents have a fit," Myeol said after he let out a soft yawn and slowly lifted me from the ground. I gripped his arm in order to balance myself from the change of position and let go when I got a sense of balance. "You don't want your mother to turn the whole town upside down because her princess was gone for a few hours."

"My mother wouldn't mind me going out for a while, she's busy with her big anniversary planning," I said with a small smile, hoping that he wouldn't suspect the little lie that I had uttered. My mother's 20 year anniversary was in a few days but my mother never spent her days setting up for it. She usually asked my uncle or aunts to purchase my father's new addiction and would gift it to him in the morning.

My father's gift was less sentimental than my mother's because he done the same thing each time, take her to an exclusive restuarant where she would eat till her heart's content and they would spend a night by a hotel of her choice. It was an anniversary gift that my mother continued to boast over even though it was something that she was accustomed to.

"Oh, really? When is it?"

"In a few days but my mother is planning this big thing so she said that I might need some time away from the house." I said and hoped deeply that Myeol picked up on the little hint that I was giving even though it was a slight one that could be easily overlooked.

"If that's so then you can come over to my house, my father is busy in Cape Town for some days so you're more than welcome to spend as much time as possible," I smiled, bundled up the picnic blanket and walked towards Myeol's white bukkie that he loved to use from time to time.

I tapped my thigh nervously whilst I looked out of the window, letting the voice of the radio presenter soothe me down from the panick that was settling in. I have never tried to make sexual advances towards a man before since I hadn't had the sexual wanting towards any boy as I have been with Myeol even though we had known each other for a very short time.

I've heard some whispers of the wealth that was in the Mang family. I've heard from the loud gossip girls who've sat behind me in class, that Myeol's father was known for his extravagant parties and fundraisers he set every year until the whole town would shut down. It were parties where prominent individuals like the president and Arab billionaires would enjoy whenever they wanted to loosen up. The parties only came to an end when his father's wife, Choi, passed away  in 1985.

I've also heard of the different luxurious cars and businesses that were under their name. It was said that they held so much money that they controlled the running of the town, although they weren't the mayor of the town.

I was enamored at the beautiful home that was hidden away from public with its huge trees and extremely high walls. It was when we entered the yard was I astonished at the design of the home that was much too similar to a colonial.

"You have a beautiful home," I said as I took in the grand home where multiple luxurious cars were parked in an oval like manner. I was sure that one of these cars could purchase the home that I lived in. It was unlike anything I've ever seen and I held back my request to see more of the cars that were in the parkinglot.

"Thank you but it isn't much really," he replied as he took off his hat and placed it into the glove compartment. "We should get in, I'm sure you're freezing." I blushed when I figured that he noticed my shivering even though I had been shivering due to my nerves.

"Yeah, we should."
