Chapter Fourteen

Sinundo ako ni Leonard the night we were going to his home town and just like he promised, hindi kami magkatabing matutulog, his bedroom was enormous, I've been here before though, hindi ko lang binigyang pansin noon ang buong kwarto.

"I'll be in the guestroom if you need anything"

"Okay"

"Good night"

"Night"

He closed the door behind him, naligo muna ako, I was wearing my lingerie when I laid onto his bed.

Hindi ako dinadalaw ng antok, nakailang biling na ako, I checked the clock on the bedside table, alas onse pa lang ng gabi, kanina pa akong alas nuwebe dito at sinusubukang matulog.

We had dinner together nang sunduin niya ako sa building namin, he said he was on the parking lot.

I sighed at saka ako bumangon, I went out of the room and knocked on his door.

Bumukas naman iyon, he was taking a shower!

"Uh..." I bit my lower lip, "Wala, 'wag na pala, sorry for bothering"

"No, no, its okay, what is it?"

Nandito na lang rin naman ako, might as well say it.

"Hindi ako makatulog"

"There's a television in my room, hold on a sec, I'll just get dress, you can wait for me in my room"

Tumango ako at agad na bumalik sa kwarto niya, I went to the bed, nakaharap naman doon ang TV, he went in and went to the television, he turned it on and went beside me.

"Choose a movie, I'll get us some popcorn, hmm?"

"Okay"

He went out of the room while I picked a movie, I choose a thriller, the movie started and he came back after the opening of the movie, naupo siya sa tabi ko at saka kami nanood.

"Will you be able to sleep after watching that?" he asked.

"Hindi ko rin alam, I can't find any movie"

Pinalitan namin iyon.

Nakasandal kami parehas sa headboard ng kama, habang nanonood, nagulat na lang ako ng biglang sumandal ang ulo niya sa balikat ko.

Nilingon ko siya, his eyes were closed ngunit nagising dahil sa nangyari, umayos agad siya ng upo at sandal sa headboard.

Napanguso ako, I took the remote and paused it.

"You sleepy now?" he asked drowsily.

"Nope, but you are, let's sleep now"

"You sure?"

I smiled at him and nodded, tumango rin ito at saka bumangon.

"I'll take this out on my way out, good night"

"Ako na, d'yan ka na rin matulog"

His brows furrowed, nagkibit balikat lang ako at saka tumayo para ilabas ang mangkok ng popcorn at pitsel at baso, I went to his kitchen, and put the things there, may milk cart doon sa fridge niya, he wouldn't mind, right?

Kumuha ako ng baso at nagsalin ng gatas doon, after that, I cleaned what we used.

Napaayos ako ng tayo nang yakapin niya ang beywang ko, his face made its way on my shoulder.

"I'll clean that tomorrow, magpahinga ka na"

"Its fine, kaunti lang naman ito, you should have just slept"

"We're sleeping together?"

"Your bed is too big, too spacious, I probably won't even feel your presence"
