He was cleaning what he used now, I was sipping wine as I watch him do the dishes.
"You know, now I'm thinking you changed your plans and wants to have a family"

"I have been thinking about it"
I bit my lower lip.
"You'll be a good husband"
"You think?" He sounded hopeful.
"Yeah, you're a full package, despite your fucking side"
Muli itong tumawa.
"I'm not sure if I should get offended or flattered"
I rolled my eyes.
"Your wife will be tired every night" I said nonchalantly and sipped my wine.
"Oh, she will be" he said and smirked.
"You should let your wife rest!"
Tumawa ito.
"I'm just kidding, of course she will, I'll take care of her and our kids, I will be her servant if she wants me to, I'll be her pleaser, I'll be her all around man"
"Kids" I whispered.
"Are you finding me ridiculous now?" He said mockingly.
"Tss, at least, I was able to change your mind about having a family"
"Yeah, you did, you did too well" he said, like he doesn't want to admit it.
I bit my lower lip, he was done now, he removed his apron and gloves, nagsalin ako ng wine para sa kanya, we clinked our glasses and drank it straight shot.
Bumaba ako sa high chair at agad siyang hinila patungo sa akin, I claimed his lips and kissed him longingly.
He parted our lips na siyang ikinagulat ko.
"Leonard..."
He bit his lower lip.
"We don't have to do it"
My lips parted, his eyes dropped on my lips, his hand went to my cheek and grazed his thumb on my lower lip.
"But, I missed you"
He bit his lower lip more.
"I missed you, too, but, I'm not asking for us to make love, I just want to see you and spend time with you, even if we don't do it, Amy"
Napakurap-kurap ako and then I nodded.
He kissed my forehead and led me to his veranda, both of us holding wine glasses.
"I'm thinking, after you marry, where would you settle down?"
"Why are you asking?"
"You women mostly have better taste than men, so I'm asking you"
"Well, since I have work, I have to live in the city and settle here because my work is here, but if I don't, I'll probably settle in my hometown"
He slowly nodded.
"You're planning, huh?" I teased him.
He chuckled and sipped his wine.
"How about when you have kids already? Will you still work?"
"I will... probably... would, but I'm not quite sure, my husband might talk it out to me to just stay and take care of the children, we'll see"
"But, what do you really want?"
