-Miss, Ray ran away again!

"How can this be?" exclaimed the woman. "Again, this scoundrel has sneaked out of class!"

"What are we going to do, Miss?" asked the excited man.

-Find him and bring him to me! When he returns, he will receive punishment!

-Eat!

Several adults immediately went outside the Takasaki gates to look for the baby. They knew very well where he had run away, because this was not the first time. Ray has always been interested in nature and animals. While still very young, he managed to cross the Takasaki border several dozen times and get acquainted, one might even say, make friends with a pack of wolves. Seeing him for the first time, they, unknowingly, attacked the boy. The guy did not scream, did not cry, but looked at the sharp fangs of the wolf. His hand was almost chewed off then, but he did not hold any grudge against the predators; on the contrary, he was very glad that he could draw the mark of their bites in his notebook.

Even then, Ray's mother realized that he was an unusual child and, so that the guy could continue to study nature, she decided to send him to the academy, after studying at which he would be able to legally and fearlessly travel outside of Takasaki. However, it was incredibly uninteresting for Ray to sit and listen, which is why the guy began to run away to the wolves, who, after a couple of meetings, got used to the guy. The wolf cub happily played with him, and the she-wolf licked him. As Ray grew, so did the wolf cub. Running away more and more often, Ray seemed to have found a new family for himself. Spending more time with them than in the village, Ray became incredibly attached to the wolves and could not live without them even a day. Around the same time, Ray became interested in science and the structure of his body. After a couple of months of research, the guy realized that the bodies of all creatures of dark karma are as similar as possible.

All living things that consist of dark karma are almost identical. Realizing this, Ray began to consider wolves not just a "second family," but his brothers. Becoming more and more a wolf at heart, Ray ran with them hunting, trained and almost lived. But nothing lasts forever. On another walk with the wolves, they suddenly became wary. Dozens of scouts jumped out of the bushes, and, forcefully dragging Ray away from the wolves, attacked them.

"What are you doing?!" Ray shouted, breaking free.

He was immediately subdued by hitting him on the head with something heavy. He heard the sounds of carnage, roars, howls, whines, and suddenly everything went quiet. The guy was suddenly picked up and carried back to Takasaki. Ray spent the next few days in the hospital bed, never getting the wolves out of his mind. Blaming himself and reproaching himself for not being able to do anything, Ray, realizing that he was unable to part with his second family, made his way out of the hospital and, subsequently, from Takasaki one night. From memory, running to the battlefield, he saw three dead, mutilated carcasses of wolves. Crying and falling to his knees, Ray was ready to die right here, next to them, when he suddenly remembered his research. The desire for revenge and the desire to reunite did not interfere with each other, but, on the contrary, grew together and forced Ray to take a sample of each of the three wolves, bury the predators, and then, returning to the hospital, implant cells taken from his dead friends right there.

That night, the "Wolf Demon" appeared in Takasaki. Residents heard howls and screams, and many still had nightmares after that night. And Lee, having learned about the new monster in Takasaki, became interested in him. Ray fled from the village in revenge, so it took a long time to find him, but Lee really wanted such an animal for his collection. Having gone completely wild, Ray devoured many of the founder's servants, but they still managed to catch him and bring him to Lee. He, using his knowledge and skills, as well as several assistants and the best doctor in Takasaki, was able to return Ray to a more or less human appearance.

When the guy woke up, he didn't remember anything. Lee, taking advantage of this, brainwashed Ray, telling him that he was special, that everyone was afraid of him, and that the founder saved him. The next year, Ray learned to control his powers and instincts, which was quite difficult...
