XVIII. Past relationships
MADISON WOKE UP IN VINNIE'S ROOM, UNSURE of what happened the night prior. She wasn't wearing her dress, instead she wore a shirt and some shorts.
They were obviously Vinnie's. By the size of the clothes and the fact that she had the shorts folded numerous times.
He walked into the room. "Why am I here?" She asked, sitting up. "You were pretty drunk last night. But I was too." Vinnie looked at her. "Did something happen or?"
"No! Nothing happened." He said, grabbing a hoodie. She nodded and rubbed her head. "God, how much did I have?" She laid back down. "Go back to sleep, the hangover will be over soon."
"Your voice is annoying, stop talking." She said and he sat down on the bed. "look, if you want to leave, go ahead. I'm not going to stop you, but I really am sorry about what happened."
Madison turned to her side, looking at him. "You could have told me before I developed feelings. My sadness turned into anger, which made me feel revengeful. "
"Wait, you actually liked me?" He asked, looking down at her. "Liked?" She said, only that, nothing else. "Vinnie, the reason why I don't want to be around you is because I like you. But I don't want you to go outside of your comfort zone."
Vinnie was speechless, he had nothing to say, and had no idea what to say. She sat back up and put her head on Vinnie's shoulder. "Madi." He looked at her as she slowly lifted her head.
"The reason I didn't want to date you was because...."
