With the most frustrated grunt ever, Missy practically launched herself out of the campus. Even Billy Sparks was received by his mama. Why not her?!
Anger guided her steps only to be halted by a well-built chest.
"Watch it!" She scoffed, only to being knocked back into her senses when she saw the mop. "I'm sorry" She mumbled under her breathe. "It's alright, Missy. You looked like you had a bad day" Y/N gently smiled at her.
"You know my name?"
After Missy explained why she was at the school after two hours of it ending, Y/N looked at her, sympathetically.
"I work part time here. My shift just ended. Would you like me to drop you?" She nodded. "That'd be nice"
She buckled herself in and looked at the window with a sigh.
"It suck being forgotten, huh?" Missy looked at Y/N at the unexpected comment. "Relatable. I'm a janitor at school. No one even knows my name. And at home, I'm neglected too. Sometimes it feels like I--" "--Just don't exist?" Missy completed that sentence. "I get it. Back at my place, everything's always about Sheldon. I hate that. Even when he's wrong, he's right, according to mom. Just cause he's smart" Missy huffed.
"So are you" Y/N said with eyes on the road.
They reached the Coopers' residence as their gaze fell on George Sr. and Mary who were rushing out, probably as they realized that they'd forgotten Missy.
Missy got down the car and glared at her parents.
"Who's that?" Mary pointed at Y/N. "Oh no one. Just someone who cares" Missy said, sarcastically.
"Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Cooper, the name's Y/N" He said, from inside the car. "Oh by the way, just because one of these twins was unplanned, doesn't mean you have the choice to forget. Oh and for the love of god, don't have more kids. He/she will probably starve since you guys are so busy with Sheldon" Y/N winked at Missy one last time before driving off, leaving the couple dumbfounded.
Missy looked at the car drive away as she felt a twitch inside her stomach.
For once, she had someone she could trust an rely on.
