I woke up from my mini nap remembering everything that had happened in the past hour. My pillow was soaked in my tears and mascara was smeared all across my face. I remembered what Tom had told me.
"I'll do anything to make it up to you."
Did he really mean that? No, of course he didn't. He just wants me to fall right into his trap. He only said that because Tamara probably dumped him and i'm the only one he has now. He'll just cheat on me a million times more.
I walked out of my room and into the bathroom. I sighed at what I saw in the mirror. I was pathetic. I'm crying over my ex when I literally have his brother to keep me company, and he doesn't even know i'm seeing his brother! I knew I had to tell Tom, but what would I even say?
I washed my face up and quickly walked out of the bathroom. I walked into the living room to see Gwen sitting on the couch, no sign of Leon or Tyler.
"Hey. Where are the others?" I asked as I sat down next to her.
"They left to go somewhere, I have no idea where though." She said, sitting back in her seat.
"Maybe a boys night?" I replied and she turned her head at me. She shrugged her shoulders as she turned her head back.
"Wait, what if we have a girls night? I know how tense you've been about your situation, this could help you let loose!" Gwen said as she sat up in the couch. I thought about the idea for a moment. She was right, I could use a little girls night.
"Let's do it." I said smiling. She squealed and pulled me off the couch and into my bedroom. She helped me pick an outfit, do my makeup, and even did my hair for me. We listened to music as we got ready and I felt myself forgetting about everything.
Gwen had picked an Ed Hardy dress and some black heels for my outfit, my makeup consisted of a dark smokey eye, and my hair was a simple but cute updo. Gwen had said the hairstyle really brings out the color. She said it shimmers in the light which I was really confident about.
Gwen had a latex tube top on as well as a mini skirt and some black chunky heels. Her makeup matched mine and her hair was down. We both looked super cute as we headed out the front door.
"Where are we even going?" I asked as she put her key into the ignition.
"The club silly! Where else would we be going?" She laughed and drove out of our driveway. We headed to the most top notch club there was in New York. The music boomed from outside of the building as we made our way to the front of the line.
"Oh, Mikey! Good to see you." Gwen said as she kissed the guards cheek.
"Hey, come on in." The guard said as he moved the red barrier from the pole.
"You're always so sweet." She said as she winked at him and skipped right in. I gave him a slight smile and walked in after her. The club was filled with lively music and colorful lights. Gwen basically dragged me to the bar area where she ordered both of us margaritas. We sat and drank, talking a little bit about other plans and soon hit the dance floor.
As Gwen and I were dancing, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I stopped my movements and turned around to see Bill standing over me. I smiled up at him.
"Hey." I said, tilting my head.
"Hey. You look good." Bill smirked, also tilting his head in the same direction. I giggled a bit at his comment when he started speaking again.
"Wanna dance?" He asked and I just couldn't say no.
"Of course." I replied and put both of my arms around his shoulders. He wrapped his hands around my waist whilst bending his knees to where I was basically sitting on his leg. We swayed to the rhythm of the song as he whispered sweet nothings into my ear. I giggled at his hot breath against my ear, but I liked it. It felt quite nice, and as the song ended he asked if I wanted to leave with him. Of course I wanted to, but I couldn't leave Gwen.
"Sorry, i'm with Gwen. I cant just leave her by herself." I sighed and traced my hand down his chest.
"Just ask her, im sure she'll be fine." He said as he pressed his hand against mine. I felt his heartbeat through his tight shirt and bit my lower lip. I left to go find Gwen and to my surprise she was sitting at the bar, talking to some guy.
"Hey, Bill's here. Is it okay if I go with him?" I asked as I looked back and forth from Gwen to the guy she was with.
"Of course! Go right ahead." She winked and continued her conversation with the strange male.
I walked over to Bill, giving him a signal that I was free to go. He wrapped his arm around me as we walked out the club doors.
