"Gwen!" I shouted as I ran in through the front door, kicking my shoes off.
"Huh?" She called back from her room. I continued to sprint towards her bedroom door. Barging in, she gasped and placed a hand on her chest.
"Jesus! What?" She said sighing as she caught her breath.
"I was right!" I said with excitement as I showed her my hand. The ring sparkled in the light as she jutted her head outwards. She got up, grabbing my hand quickly as she examined the ring.
"No way. I'm so happy for you!" She replied as she wrapped me in for a hug. She took my hand in hers again, walking me towards her bed as we continued to talk about my engagement.
"Oh my gosh! You guys can have cute German babies!" She squealed as we laid down together on her bed.
"I don't want kids though." I laughed at her comment. Our kids would be pretty cute though.
"Lame." She said as I hit her shoulder.
We continued to talk for a few minutes, things like how the wedding will go, if we're going to move in together, anything like that.
"I think we will move in with each other eventually, we just haven't talked about it. We're still both living with our bands and stuff." I said as I got up, smoothing my dress out.
"Well, i'm sure the others will be super happy for you, whatever you decide to do." She replied as she sat on the edge of her bed, looking up at me. I smiled as I tilted my head at her. I wrapped her in for one more hug before exiting her room. As I walked towards my bedroom, I called Bill.
"Hey. What's up?" He asked on the other line as I shut my bedroom door.
"Nothing, just wanted to call you. I miss you already." I joked into my phone as I heard him chuckle on the other side.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah." I sighed, smiling at his voice.
Bill and I continued to talk for a couple of minutes before we eventually got into deeper subjects. Such as our marriage and the future.
"Are you still going to be a musician in your, I don't know, thirties?" I asked as I played with the sheets that lay on my bed.
"I hope so, maybe i'll be too old." He laughed.
"Well, you'll never be too old for me." I said into my phone. We laughed a bit until he said he was tired and wanted to sleep. We ended our conversation as I closed my phone and placed it on my chest.
I completely forgot to change out of my dress. I got up and off of my bed and unzipped the pink dress. It slipped off of my body perfectly as I laid it down on my bed. I walked toward my bathroom that was connected to my room and turned the shower on to a warm temperature. As I felt the water with my hand, I slipped in, allowing the hot water to relax into my muscles.
I began to hum the song Reden. It was now my favorite song of all time. I still couldn't believe Bill actually proposed. I thought it was all a silly idea, but it turned out to be true. I hope i'm able to live the rest of my life with him.
