after the Ceremony at midnight the monks and warriors are still remaining talking to one another. on the balcony of a far hut both Raiden, Kai and Jax (who was smoking) were seen talking to one another.
Raiden- i do not understand why my Amulet is further damaged. He must win.... If not Liu Kang, then who?
Kai- the world is a true mystory Lord Raiden
Jax- You got me...Not sure anybody coulda done what he did. Made Shang Tsung look like a chump.

Raiden- here to congratulate us on our victory, sorcerer?
Jax looks to the side to see the man but after hearing him say the word "sorcerer" he did a double take and saw Shang Tsung but younger properly.
Jax- What? Shang Tsung?!
Raiden- You have been revitalized, I see. I didn't realize your master was in the habit of rewarding failure
Kai- or is he keeping you younger and alive longer to punish you more for your failure
Shang Tsung- the emperor has an offer, Raiden. A new tournament.
Kai- are you crazy, we will not take part
Raiden- I agree with Kai White, I see no reason to participate in any plan of yours.
Shang Tsung- The Emperor proposes a single tournament, to replace the current system of ten. It will be held in Outworld.
Kai- and what about this one that's so special
Shang Tsung- if Earthrealm win's this tournament Shao Khan will abandon all claim of your realm forever.
Kai- and if we loose
Shang Tsung- Earthrealm will be absorbed into Outworld
Jax and Kai look at each other from the sound of the agreement they could fight and win so no one else has to ever again.
Raiden walks back to the railing o the balcony
Raiden- give your emperor my regards
Shang Tsung smiles and begins to cast a spell Kai seeing this kicks him in the chest stopping him slightly but failed to fully stop him to where he was able to create a small portal to where outworld Tarkatan warriors and fighters charged through the portal.
Raiden seeing this begins a fight with Shang Tsung as Kai and Jax jump of the balcony to fight the warriors.
Jax runs head first and beats down one of the many Tarkatan's one by one after being distracted by knocking one down one of the warriors punch Jax in the back of the head confusing him as another punches his other side of his head. the two Tarkatans beat down on Jax before Kai runs in spit kicking the two in the face then punching another two. Kai looks down at Jax to see him knocked out which gives the Tarkatan's enough time to run up from behind Kai and knock him out too.
