In a dark room with only two piece of large items are inside of two men are seen inside of it. One lying down on one piece as another is seen attaching metallic objects to the other. Heavy breath could be heard but distorted. the one working on the other is shown to the red eyed cyclops Kano who is smiling as he works. as he finished up he places a metal gridded mask onto the other's face. once done the other soon awakens as he could be heard grunting in confusion. the mans skin shown to be scorched and the back of the mask long black hair is seen.

Kano- easy there mate. You've had a rough one.
Man- Kano?
Kano- in the flesh.
Man- I was on fire
Kano burned to a crisp, you were. Good thing I found ya.
the now recognized Kabal fiddles with his mask as he realities he's wearing it
Kabal- I'm hideous.
Kano- Shang Tsung's magic healed the rest of ya. But you lungs? Yeesh.
Kabal- Take it off
Kano- can't it's permanent.
Kabal- What?

Kabal- I'm a freak.
Kano is shown to bring out two large hook swords where he starts to walk over to Kabal.
Kano- Go on give' em a whirl.
Kabal- I don't use those anymore.
Kano- yeah, you're all proper police now. The Black Dragon ain't the same without ya, mate. you should come back. We're in the money on this war.
Kabal- you sold those monsters their firepower.
Kano- Guilty as charged
Kabal- this is your fault!
Kano- what are you one about, eh? you're here, ain't ya?
Kabal- i should be dead! Now your gonna be!
Kabal rushes over to Kano as he ducks down dodging Kano's eye laser where he tackles Kano to the ground and punches him in the chest where he knocks the wind out of him. seeing his blades on the ground Kabal grabs one of them where he uses it to slash at Kano but fails to se Kano's knife which blocks the attack and allows Kano the advantage to stab at Kabal which he does. with the knife head to him Kabal quickly moves to the side and uses the sword to hold the blade away from him not to get stabbed and twists his sword around to get the knife out of Kano's hand. once he was free from that danger Kabal used his blades and hooked them on Kano where he dragged him into the table where he knocked him down.
