Mac and I make our way to the police station, anxiety and curiosity flowing through our veins.

"Here for Detective Elmore!" I scream running to the front desk

She turns to her phone, dialing his number

Mac and I look at each other, intertwining our fingers.

"Mac, Aura."

We turn around to see Mrs Knox and Mr Knox, behind them is Detective Elmore

"Okay now that everyone is here, i'll take you back to the interrogation window. We won't be going in yet, I want you to see if you recognize this man."

I will kill this man. I twitch my nose

"Okay" Mac says

We walk through the hall, stopping before the window.

Mrs Knox inhales before moving forward with Mr Knox, hand in hand.

Mac and I let them look first. They were her parents and deserve to know first.

Mrs Knox gasps, her hands going over her mouth

Mac and I step forward, both of our eyes widening.

Mr Knox looks at us three confused, then Detective Elmore speaks,

"There was a video recording outside a bar where we saw Autumn and him leaving together around 1am"

I give him a confused look, "she was supposed to get off of work at 11, why didn't she call us letting us know she'd be going out with Blake?"

I turn to look him in the eyes, I practically growl when he's sitting there smiling back at me

Detective Elmore scratches his neck, "He said he was at the coffee shop studying for an exam when the power went out because of the storm. Her phone was dead and she came back in asking if he could give her a ride because of the storm. She couldn't call you guys with no phone. He said he agreed to drive her home. But on the way he asked if she wanted to get drinks. She agreed, they partied, drank and that's that. We have them leaving around 1am. After that he won't talk about what happened."

"Can I talk to him?" I ask softly

Detective Elmore looks at the Knox's'

They both nod

Elmore let's me in. Blake is staring into my soul. I sit down across from him.

"Blake"

"Aura"

"What happened after you two left?"

"I took her back to my place"

"Then?"

"Did naughty things to her."

I shift in my seat, "With consent?"

He smiles and moves his head closer

"I'm not a monster Aura" he laughs with a hint of evilness

I release a breath I was holding in

"Then what?"

"She left."

"By herself?"

"Yeah it stopped storming and she said she could walk herself"

"My moms house is only a 15 minute walk from yours." he finishes

"When did she leave?"

He tilts his head, "1:45?"

He's not sure. I turn my head around to Detective Elmore who now opens his mouth to speak

"So somehow she ended up in the next town over, which is a thirty minute drive. She was found dead at 3. Which gives the killer" he pauses to motions towards Blake
