It's lunch and the group was at our usual table. I was sitting in between Callie and Nate, with Madison in front of me. I told her, Mike and Jack what happened, like they hadn't seen my locker this morning.

"I wish I was there to claw her eyes out" Madison said, stabbing her food with her fork.

"I can't believe she's doing this just because she doesn't like you around Chris"Jack said from beside Callie. Chris tensed but he didn't say anything.

"I did bitch at her a few times, but she started it" I defend myself. "I hope Callie isn't dragged into this"

Jack's head snapped up and he met my eyes. "What do you mean?"

Matt filled him in. "Katy said because Sabrina and Callie are best friends, she's going after both of them"

No one else notices, but I catch Jack move a little closer to Callie. Chris didn't miss it either.

"She's crazy, she doesn't need a reason to bully someone" Callie said. "I was brought into this the second she decided to mess with my best friend"

"Me too" Madison agreed and the others nod in agreement, as Nate throws his arm over my shoulder.

"No one fucks with my Sab"

My heart swelled . I've never had a group of people stand by me like this. I've had friends before, but not like this- nothing that felt like they had my back, no matter what.

I leaned my head on Nate's shoulder. "Thanks, but there's no need for anyone to get involved. I just need to think of how to get back at her"

"Of course we're getting involved! Fuck with my friend, you fuck with me!" Matt declared

Madison nodded. "Let's just corner her and punch her"

"We don't hit girls" Chris said, putting his phone away.

"I know you guys don't, but I don't have a problem with it!"

Mike sighed. "You know you can't do that, babe"

Madison gave her boyfriend an annoyed look. "You know just as well as I do that I'm capable of punching her"

I lifted my head from Nate's shoulder when he spoke. "No one doubts you can punch her, it's just that you cant"

"Her Mom is the principal, Katy gets away with everything" Matt explained, more for my benefit

"Callie told me that on my first day"

"If you touch a hair on her head, you're screwed" Nate explained.

"You're telling me I can't do anything about it? Not even get even?" I asked

Matt shook his head. "She'll go crying to her Mom"

"Once, some girl Katy didn't like accidentally spilled a drink on her shirt" Mike started and leaned forward. "She told her Mom the girl attacked her and threw her drink at her for no reason. The girl got suspended"

"It's not fair" Callie groaned

I refused to accept the fact I couldn't do anything about Katy. If there's one thing that didn't change , is that I don't take crap from anyone. It's what's kept me alive. I will get even with Katy.

"Sabrina?"

Chris rarely contributes to conversations when Callie and I are around, so when he did, he got our full attention. "What are you thinking?"

He saw how deep in thought I was, thinking about my revenge. I was struck by how alike we are.

"I'm thinking that Katy is out of luck. I don't care who her Mom is and I'm not letting her get away with this"
