For the first few days, we were all on guard, worrying that Katy would come up with some plan. But it's been a week since she 'broke up' with Chris. Seven days of nothing big happening. I don't know if I should be worried or not. Katy moved on fast, she already found another guy to latch on to. She's been getting ride to and from school from some guy in a mustang. I don't recognise him, and he doesn't go to school here.
Katy may have moved on, but I don't think she's quite through with her problem with me. The guys have loosened up their watch on me since there wasn't a risk of an attack.
"Have you seen this video?" Madison asked
We were at our usual table, just starting our lunch.
"What video?" Nate asked, taking his sandwich out of his bag.
"The one showing Katy going crazy and trying to attack Sabrina in the hall" Madison laughed, pulling out her computer.
"What?" I asked, my face draining of colour.
"Someone must have recorded it because it's on Instagram. Katy made such a fool of herself" Madison turned her laptop to show us the video.
No, this isn't happening.
"Am I in the video? Do you see my face?"
Shit, this isn't good.
No one seemed to notice that I was panicking as we huddled together to watch it. It started when I called Katy a sparkly demon, my voice and my face was visible and ended when Chris demanded everyone to go to class. Everyone laughed at how Katy looked or how angry she was. No one noticed that I hadn't spoken a word.
The video needs to be taken down before it messes things up. I don't want to change schools again. My mom and I can't go through that again, certainly not as a result of something stupid I've done. There are only so many airlines my Mom can work for before she starts running into people she knows from before.
"Who posted this?" I asked in a serious tone.
Everyone stopped talking and gave me a strange look
"Eddie Flynn" Madison said slowly. "What's wrong?"
"He has to take it down"
This can't be on the internet. Everyone has access to the internet. Anyone can see that video and see me and know where I am. And I bet Eddie hasn't restricted the privacy.
"Sabrina, calm down" Chris said, with concern on his face.
Everyone looked at me with concern. What's their problem? Why do I feel dizzy?
"Sabrina? Don't worry about the video. You look good, and it embarrasses Katy. She probably hasn't seen it yet- ohh. You're scared Katy's going to see it and go crazy?"
Everyone takes Matt's assumption and runs with it.
Nate said, "she won't do anything, I promise"
Madison said, "if she tries anything, we'll kick her ass"
Jack said, "we'll make sure you're not alone"
Callie said, "she probably won't see it"
Matt said, "I better be there for the drama this time"
Mike said, "she won't confront you again!"
"I don't care about Katy!" I snapped at them all and their concerned looks turned into confusion.
"Okay" Callie said slowly. "What's wrong? We'll fix it"
I froze and realised I was overreacting, which would betray some of the secrets I was trying to keep. They didn't know it wasn't just a video of me telling off Katy- they don't know what's at risk.
